Porto confirmed a week later than normal too. Maybe to accommodate a third festival…

I was surprised by how many folks from the USA were there. Must cost them a fortune.
USD salaries are way higher plus cable is strong in their favour (and USD festivals cost about double for entry and drinks/food).

Which Hollywood actor’s side project can we expect, after Elijah Wood and Keanu Reeves?
Ryan Gosling had a band once upon a time, maybe an I’m Just Ken cover…
Will Smith replacing Morrissey in a reformed The Smiths

and their live show is...very short judging from the setlist?
They are playing 1h40 at another fest I am going to. That's longer than most PS24 set durations...

Looking at hotels for next year.
How reliable are the shuttle buses to placa catalunya?
The new massively extended tram line is almost complete and will run direct from the Forum to Verdaguer next year so I would recommend everyone look at Gracia or east part of Eixample for cheaper hotels.

Flaming Lips doing Yoshimi in May in the UK - perfect Wednesday headliner…
Get this in the Auditori this time!

All starting to merge together in my head!!
The new era feels different to the old era, a lot of changes for the better, many are worse (they love tinkering). But what matters most (by far) is the lineup and no other festival in the world with such amazing curation and diversity. The best evidence for this is I could have chosen a totally different path through the three days and still seen amazing stuff.

Primavera in Italy sounds appealing! Is there any other information on this?
Has been longstanding rumour about Turin and they have been in conversations. We know they want another site in Europe and would make sense.

Maybe is later next year as Primavera Sound Italy/France is the week before.

Mandy Indiana, Royal Otis, Lemon Twigs then a ferocious Model/Actriz.
Best closing night ever.

As for Saturday
- Lankum was a battle for minas tirith kind of great show. One of my fav shows ever
The first 10 minutes of Lankum especially ranks among the best things I have ever seen. I was completely overwhelmed with the intensity and emotion. Nearly broke down in tears.Auditori was the perfect venue for them, bravo.

So much to love this year, though I do wish they would stop tinkering with things that worked.
Only sour point hearing that Weekender has been cancelled.
-
Tonight was absolutely brilliant, rain and all. Tonnes of amazing acts ending with brilliant sets from Atarashii Gakko and Roisin Murphy.
-
No last minute cancellations for the whole 3 days it seems.
Pretty amazing really…
-
Some mild showers tonight so bring a lightweight rain jacket
