They moved a number of combi tickets to day tickets. Saturday and Sunday seems to went to the waiting list people while Friday is open for sale again.
I wonder how many and how much quieter it's going to be this year

Also 6 dates annouced in Italy. The only ones for Europe. So 6 at the RAH and 6 in Italy, Rome. Not much touring for mr Gilmour........
Seems a few more dates in New York and LA. I guess he'll add maybe a few more at other continents and that's it

Full of clashes for me, probably the worst so far 😄 There'll be a lot of looking into setlists and running between stages to see favorite songs it seems

First timer here, with it being almost a month till the festival. Any advice for a first-timer, I'm coming over from England and staying in the RfP tents. Anything that I need to know that's different from English festivals? Also (and probably the most important question) how much roughly is it for a drink in the arena? We won't be able to really take drink in to have at camp so will be at the bar quite a bit!
There's a ton of beer options (70+ different ones), they range from like 60 czk for basic lagers to 120-150 czk for fancier stuff.
Beer lineup:

She was 4th name of the day at Rock Werchter in 2019 under Tool, The Cure and Bring Me The Horizon. At Open'er that same year she was subbing The Smashing Pumpkins as well.
No clue how she got to headline now

I'm pretty sure Leaks denied Kylie when someone suggested her. I hope they come back, I really wanna know what they wanted to do originally

Quite useful that they tell you the price of shillings beforehand.
Is anyone able to help me with where the lockers in boneyard camping are? Thinking of getting one but might not if they’re in an inconvenient place to go to every morning/night
Last year I used some that were right next to that shopping street/corner with tshirts and tattoos, don't know if that's the only one but wasn't a problem at all in the mornings, needed like 3 minutes and we were on the other side of the camp

Official: no TW Classic in 2024. They just made an official statement. Seems they didn't find a solution to book the headliner they wanted at a good date : "Either the potential headliners have changed their tourdates, either any good dates were available." They also speak about the many works on the streets in the area which have the consequence it was not possible to make a festival happen before June 15th.
Any infos about who was supposed to headline the festival this year @Ken19?
Stevie Wonder was supposed to play Glastonbury and BST and he won't in the end. I'd say that

They play really good but they're not trying to put on a show of any kind. They literally just stand and play. The atmosphere is pretty chill, even for some of the upbeat songs like Lonely Boy

Just listened to them, this is amazing. Went on their social media pages, found they play in a bar in Prague in 2 weeks. Got tickets immediately

Kaytranada is a producer/dj that has a few albums that are pretty critically acclaimed, I don't remember seeing him play bigger venues than big clubs tho. Victoria Monet wrote a ton of songs for Ariana Grande and now got her own thing going. Thundercat is an amazing funky bass player...
Definitely the smallest All Points East lineup I saw so far

Not Exit but probably the best lineup of the year in Europe is in Serbia at Arsenal fest - https://www.instagram.com/arsenalfest/?hl=en
Headliners: Lil Pump, Zdravko Čolić (exYu pop legend), Dogstar
Other acts: Circa Waves, Asian Dub Foundation, Nik West, and a bunch of exYu rock, punk and hiphop

It doesn't even feel they were doing any press or promoting the new album and a tour anywhere. It was a thing for like 3 days and mostly due to polarizing reviews

The Cat Empire, Jalen Ngonda, Bombay Bicycle Club, Johnny Marr, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will play Rock Werchter on Thursday 4 July 2024. New for Friday 5 July are Tom Odell, Gary Clark Jr., Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Declan McKenna, and Kneecap. Brihang, Cian Ducrot, No Guidnce, and Noname have been added to the lineup for Saturday 6 July. Lastly, Pretenders, IDLES, Lawrence, and Matt Maltese will perform on Sunday 7 July.

This is true. Apart from the testimony of five people, their text messages, the explicit photos of Win masturbating, and the independent corroboration by Pitchfork of the above by friends and associates of all five, there’s no real concrete evidence. And Win has said that he thought all five were asking for it, so it’s ok.
I remember reading about it when it happened and I don't remember Pitchfork showing any text messages at all. I read this one where it basically goes: "This girl said X but Win Butler said Y and then a girl said Z"
-
The thing with Win Butler is that there's basically nothing proven or any really concrete evidence, it's just several people saying he's a peace of sh*t and manipulative and he said he isn't. That was it, nothing more came about it since 2022 I think

Have someone observed if Graspop shared names with Werchter? Audience very different but still in Belgium - 50km and a weekend apart...
Thinking about the remaining 15ish bands for Graspop and names like Bad Omens, Janes Addiction come to mind... they all have a gap during the fest, but are also at RW.If they have only fillers for the last wave - no need to keep it for later. Line up is very strong already.
They usually don't share anyone. It happens sometimes they share like 1 or 2 bands but that's usually due to something unexpected happening.

At Open'er, Maneskin are playing the same day as Foo Fighters... Crazy that they headline Werchter on their own but not Open'er.
They also have Doja Cat headline which wouldn't happen at Werchter for example. It's not always 1:1 comparison between festivals and countries

††† (Crosses), Alien Weaponry, Amaranthe, Architects, Atreyu, Avantasia, Batushka, Brian Downey's Alive And Dangerous, Crownshift, Drug Church, Dying Wish, Eisbrecher, Empire State Bastard, Fear Factory, Flotsam and Jetsam, Health, Heart, Limp Bizkit, Mammoth MVH, Mr. Bungle, Ne Obliviscaris, P.O.D., Pest Control, Rival Sons, The Last Internationale, Thursday, Turnstile, Underoath, Uriah Heep & Wolfmother.

Jane's Addiction is the best band on the lineup, you can't change my mind 😄

Parkway Drive and Avril Lavigne are surely bigger. Avril Lavigne recently played a small arena here in Prague, I don't think Yungblud can do it.
-
I mean, it's not good but that's a 90€ festival and not 290€ like Sziget

I don't normaly care about male/female ratio, but this lineup need some females🙃
To be honest I think Inmusic is still booking like "let's get whoever we manage to book" and that's not even on their minds
Graspop 2024
in overseas festivals

No, it doesn't sell out. You can get on any train really going there or back. They're can get pretty full but everyone gets in
