  1. Sorry, but the figures do add up -

    120k - today

15k - coach sale on thursday

    2.5k - Sunday local tickets

Total 137,500 - the official public allocation.

is that the figure for sunday tickets? only 2.5k ? it felt like it became much more busier this year on the sunday,i thought it might be more

  2. i was lucky today, and got them in the resale for 2015, but failed 3 years previous !, i thinks its luck,,, the only improvement id like to see is if you make it too the booking page then it should secure your tickets for 2 mins or so, similar to ticket masters system. its sickening to get through, then enter details only too get a sold out while your entering your payment details etc!,

  3. I left the John Peel in shock at how much I enjoyed it. On Monday my mate booked us a ticket to the Manchester show to cheer us both up.

yeah same, first time I've seen them live aswell., ill be at the ritz! .could feel the energy ! fizzy blew me away!!  bit gutted i missed them at the academy now, bet that was amazing!

  4. thats nice ! , if i could use your thread also..... just too say..... thanks to that fella that picked me up when i went arse over tit in the mud in shanghai la on friday when we got flash mud !  couldn't off done it without ya!  :girlwah:  :girlwah:  :girlwah:

  5. i was at the festival for fun, not work.. but the company i work for provide generators to the main supplier off the festival...(aggreko).

i met a few engineers on site an spoke too them...they had 85 engineers on site! all splitting shifts and basically on the biggest fiddle all weekend!  from experience that amount off machines could have been handled by 20 engineers...comfortably!  how many other service providers are adding too the numbers unnecessary???  food vendors are mob handed and partying most nights too! see the website!

bbc for starters!  300 plus people! . an i can't even watch the cribs back on iplayer! haha..

  6. I loved it when he said "Has everybody gone to the toilets, then?", he'd obviously thought of that one the night before, expecting a small crowd of bemused tye-died vest tops and a flower crowds. Then he got out there and had a packed out tent cheering at him and thought "fuck it, I'm doing it anyway".

"Me and Andrew are a professional band. We've been doing live music for a long time, we expect some more fookin heads".

haha, a very.....very sceptical mate off mine said he was coming with me to see why i kept going on about them! he loved it, and the little bits off banter inbetween were quality ! ...."are there any locals here.. whats it like for work.. shit work" hahaha its all shit!

  7. on my way back too big ground, stopped off at one the only places to eat that were still open, just off muddy lane at about 03.30am...  a girl with her fella in front off me....... she asked, can i have a cheeseburger but i don't want you too touch any off the food with your fingers!!! the guy looked at her like ....what???   haha... i burst out laughing an she got a bit of shit!!!.. then her fella moved her on !! cheeseburger less!

  8. those who pee in a bottle in the tent, do you carry it to the toilet? or just empty in the campsite? Curious as a non bottle pisser. :D

i take 2 lenor bottles in case i gotta go! , used them a few times, was camped in big ground... walked down the hill to the urinals in the morning and poured them in there... always done it , no problem

  9. We arrived at Gate B at 2am and the queue was orderly with lots of stewards managing.  At about 5am the stewards asked the queue to bunch up - going from 5 people wide to 20 people wide and a move of about 750m. The stewards also all seemed to disappear at this point.  This combined with the fact that there was no barriers/ropes marking out the queue meant that a lot of people took this as an opportunity to jump the queue.  This only got worse as the morning progressed - the queue was about 40 wide by 7.30am with lots of people sneaking in near the front which was pretty disheartening for those who had been sitting in the cold all night. The stewards didn't really turn up again until 7.30am but by this point the damage was done and the queue was a complete shambles.  Apparently they were understaffed and had to move stewards from gate to gate. We eventually got through at 9.30.  Put a bit of a dampener on the start of the festival as was knackered from no sleep on Tuesday knowing that all the people who'd had a kip and rocked up at 7.30 had strolled in at the front.

same here! arrived at 03.00am , went to the back off the queue, moved a little at around 04.30am and got near the portaloos on the bend...then the crowd got wider and wider with people who were just arriving!  when were close to the gate there were lots off people in front off us that arrived at 08.00am ! and we sat there from 03.00am! pissed us off all morning that! luckly we got a great camping spot!

  10. Currently watching stuff on the iplayer with headphones in and a few ales. Feeling a bit emotional and I'm not even drunk! At least I'm off work tomorrow as a recovery day.

same.... few beers and iplayer, i never get too emotional but when stuck on you by lionel came on it very nearly had me last night !

  11. No so much luck of the draw but people not queuing up and just strolling to the front in blue carpark, people were turning up at 7-8 and jumping the whole queue as no one was there to steward the mess it made the whole thing total chaos.

pissed me right off that! i arrived at 03.00am, took my place at top of the hill in the queue...was it about 05.00am they opened a gate and we moved further down, near too the portaloos on the corner.... then yep...7-8 the queue got wider and wider ! chaos getting anywhere then,, people in front off me in the queue nearer the gate that arrived at 08.00am!

  12. Chair's don't bother me, picnic blankets do. I make a game of seeing how many I can tread on. It's like people try and reserve their own square metre of the field.

I camp in Row Mead (above Pyramid) and it's a pain in the bum trying to navigate through that field as soon as we reach the Friday.

i was in big ground, same! trying to get to the tent was tricky!  what time did you have too arrive to get a spot in row mead? that first row off tents had an amazing spot!

  13. I went the last Saturday of every month for years. Used to love it. Found a load of old Maximes tapes the other day. I preferred Maximes to Bowlers by far.

Did anyone go Step Back @ The Music Box and Academy?

yeah used to go maxines all the time, if not there wigan pier... loved it back then !  yeah i went to bowlers a lot aswell.. like you i probably preferred maxines.. later on i noticed a lot more dickheads at maxines though... seen a lot of fights outside etc.. never seen any trouble at bowlers even though it was bigger and more central?

  14. Last year I was sat in a field next door to get there nice and early, lost track of time got there with half hour to go and the place was rammed, not a chance of getting in, not sure if this will be as popular but just don't want to miss it

ahhh right, yes i was planning on hanging around a bar close by and going maybe an hour before or so... might have to be there earlier!

  15. How busy do you think Thursday will be for Nicky blackmarket, 2 bad mice & hyper on experience? I fancy this but if the queues are massive like the frankie knuckles tribute last year I am going to have to get there early

what time would you think be best too make sure off getting in without massive queues?

  16. thanks for the replies...  yes i remember one or 2 names now,  been watching a few of the DJs mentioned... ill definitely be at london udergound for nicky blackmarket and 2 blind mice! see you there e_p.. ill look out for you!
