  1. Hey everyone!

Very excited about next week! Not long now...

Can anyone rejog my memory about the stage where a few secret bands play on the Thursday? (Drenge/Wolf Alice did it back in 2015 I believe).

Hoping the same happens again this year.

  2. KOL were pretty boring at Reading last year. Setlist wise, they played loads of the old stuff which I enjoy but they didn't interact with the crowd so it all felt a little flat. Maybe I was ready for home as we were off after they finished. Everyone pretty much was waiting for Sex On Fire.

The Killers always put a good show on imo. I thought they were great at the o2 last time they were here and the stage show was fab too. I'd be interested to see if the full band would get back together for Glasto as its just the two of them now? They have plenty of tunes too for the field.

  3. Saw the 1975 last Saturday and they were fantastic. The stage production was mind-blowing, something I haven't seen since the Watch The Throne tour. Pretty much confirmed any doubts about them being headliner worthy. Hope to see them on the Pyramid very soon.

They sounded shite when I saw them in 2013. And absolutely brilliant in 2017.

My mate won tickets for that tiny gig in Camden next month, but his +1 is another lad cos The 1975 are like his favourite band. I was gonna snag it if he couldn't go. :( Can't really afford it and I'm seeing them in January anyway so it doesn't really matter, but woulda been cool. Anyone going?

is this the top Spotify listeners gig?

Been listening to more of their stuff lately and they do indeed have some really catchy stuff. However, it doesn't exactly scream headliner in a million years for me.

I know what you mean, but over the years Glasto has given bands the opportunity to become that headliner band.

Look at Arctics headlining after 2 albums. If festivals keep booking legends/big acts, when they all retire/pass who will we have!?

  6. 1975 is an interesting shout... Two new albums out by June so they'd have four albums of material in total to perform live.

Whether you like them or not (I do!) I must admit they have some catchy tunes.

  7. Weird question.

A family member of mine wants to buy a campervan ticket with my ID even though they haven’t got a general admission ticket (they are hoping to get one in resale and if they don’t, they’ll cancel it).

Can you do this and will it affect my ID/entry?

Arctic monkeys just released a behind the scenes production video, if you go to 8.29 mins in you can see a very familiar outline. I think the writing is on the wall guys make of it what you will.

They were showing this film at the AM:ZM exhibitions in London and Sheffield.

Clutching at straws, but I'd love to see the Monkeys again.

They've had the bollox (and success) to change their styles and reinvent themselves over 6 albums which is more impressive.
