I believe that tomorrow a big name will be announced at the festival or outside the festival in Portugal by the promoter of NOS Alive.
If it's on NOS Alive, I believe Mad Cool will announce the Line-up.
Must be Pearl Jam, right?

Is there a date when will they announce other headliners? Or its just random ( iam tired of refreshing the page everyday too see is travis scott is coming)
No, there's no pattern. However I expect 8-10 more names before Christmas.

First names on Wednesday

Maybe it refers to the number of names that will be included in the first batch? However, I am not sure if both these numbers aren't too small for that.

Jane's Addiction will appear too, although I don't think it's any surprise to anyone at this point.
They will be announced first by Azkena Rock Festival tho this next Monday.
The Cure?

Dua Lipa and Foos, what a great start this year!

What about Tool???
can't really see that in 2024 anymore, I am not even sure they got FF, let alone Tool. And it seems it's gonna be an arena tour, doesn't it?

So, Foo Figthers are playing Roskilde on Friday and Werchter on Sunday. It makes them very likely to be our Wednesday headliner...

Kendrick Lamar aka K.Dot back at Sziget?
It seems pretty obvious now that the clues were referring to Fred Again.., doesn't it?

Honestly I prefer to see The Smashing Pumpkins headliner there than sub at RW. Always found their shows a bit boring tbh.
With Novarock and Rock Am Ring announcing on 2/3 November, I guess we would have an announcement of Foo Fighters at RW on Friday 3rd...
Foo Fighters played RaR this year, so I guess it's not them.

Also do we think that The National, Gaslight Anthem and Fontaines DC are likely to play as they're in Europe over the same time period?
Looks like The National are out:

I think RATM will be back at one point, but not in 2024. Also heard no GnR in Europe in 2024., but they will be doing festivals in 2025.
Any new info about Dua Lipa? 🙂

It was fun!
I enjoyed the most, in no particular order: Ezra Collective, Young Fathers, Kendrick, Underworld, Lizzo, QOTSA, Rina, Thundercat, Los Bitchos, Christine & The Queens... A diverse set for sure and that's Open'er for us.
Smoothly organized and even the rain wasn't the bitch we thought it'd be.
The colours of the tents changed though and I kept calling the tent stage blue while it was the alter stage that was blue this year 😄 A great way to confuse your friends!
yeah, pretty good one this year, not very crowded, good weather, and it turned out the line-up wasn't that bad after all 😉
My highlights: QOTSA, Ezra Colletive, Lizzo, Young Fathers, Kendrick, AM, Warhaus, Rina, Labrinth.
The biggest disappointment? I expected more from SZA tbh, but there were some technical issues so maybe not entirely her fault. And her crowd was probably the smallest I've ever seen when it comes to headliners (maybe next to The Libertines from 2015).

Given Alexs girlfriends latest update, it seems like the Glasto cancelation is imminent. Not necessarily a bad sign for RW I guess
you mean the photo with 'Go Glasto' caption? I'd rather say it makes their apperance even more likely.

Is Brodka any good? I've heard good stuff about her and we like to check out Polish music, but 1 am might be a bit late for exploration
Yeah, Brodka and Ezra Collective are the only reasons why I wont be leaving after SZA. You should check her out :)

Schedule is up. You know for not a lot of bands they still find a way to make clashes.
Queens of the stone age/Caroline polachek
Young father's/labrinth
yeah, Friday and Saturday will be very busy this year (also girl in red clashing with Young Fathers). On the other hand, for me Thursday is one of the weakest days in the entire history of the festival
Open'er Festival 2024
