Hard agree on Maribou State. You reckon they're still getting the album over the line, or just DJing Silver Hayes/iicon in place?

They seem to have other dates theyre playing in March and August.... i guess we will have to wait and see but they were excellent last time!

Looked terrific. Do we now know who all the members of Sault are?

Inflo is the main one, the rest seem to be more of a loose collective (tho you could argue Cleo Sol is part of the band too as she is Inflos partner).

  3. There were absolutely loads of wristbandless scousers this year (I saw about 30 of them on the way out on monday morning holding up their bare wrists at gate D on their ay out for a photo).

    Auto refresh.

Problem is it's not, it's pretty rudimentary which is why it's a problem.

In 2013 if I'm remembering right, you could "ping" the sales page, which basically means saying to the server "hey, what IP addresses are you on?" and it would return two different addresses. But if you put the URL in the browser, you only ever got sent to the one address. So people figured "why not force it to the other one?" and that worked. I remember checking it myself at the time as no way was I just going to force connect to a random IP address because anyone could just set up a website that looked like the Glasto one and use it to harvest card details.

This time around people used an address that SeeTickets used elsewhere and it just so happened to work. I appreciate it's a subtle difference, but the difference is that in 2013 the system was literally advertising the second address, it was publicly available information. But then the load balancer was pointing people in just one direction. It's sort of like if you're in a (real life) queue and there are big signs up saying "USE BOTH LANES" and then someone is stood there directing everyone to the left. If you ignored them and went to the right... bit cheeky but it did say "USE BOTH LANES".

This year is more like people going to the "5 items or fewer" lane in the supermarket with a trolly full of 20 things. You can do it. It does work. You're very unlikely to be challenged. But at the same time, you are breaking the rules.

As i remember is, 2013 was a misconfiguration. Four IPs were set up to handle the traffic, but they messed up one of the IPs and left it routing locally, people worked this out...

    For example (not proper ips):

    Server 1 - 123.456.789.10
    Server 2 - 123.456.789.11
    Server 3 - 123.456.789.12
    Server 4 - 192.168.789.13

People saw the 192.168..., realised they had misconfigured it (192.168 is for your own computer locally, not a web address) and then correctly guessed that if they used (in this example) 123.456.789.13 - they would get straight in to an empty server. I remember it vividly as i didn't get a ticket whilst i knew mates who got multiple groups of 12 (at the time).

This year is slightly different as people have host hack targeted other see servers that were never intended to be used for the sale.

  5. Seems like they have updated the system... few things i noticed:

    1. You cant seem to trigger the "fake" holding screen by over-refreshing https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/ anymore (i cant seem to anyway) -have they removed the 60refresh/min limit?
    2. People were able to complete a booking session, get the "booking complete" screen and then go back to the main page and rebuy instantly (multiple reports of people buying 30-60 tickets) Just like this...
    3. Links are no longer fixed... there seemed to be multiple #'s on the booking URL - usually it's all the same?
    4. Some people talking about using the host hack trick again (there was a guide here that was found on reddit - but its been made private in the last 2 hours (basically DNS lookup on seetickets and host hack it to the IP... ideally one of the other see servers that the main glasto site isnt pointing at).

Anyone notice anything else new / different?

I've been on 3 last two festivals.

Making/receiving calls is fine. Receiving texts is fine, sending texts - no.

Don't bother with internet after Tuesday.

Last year was shockingly bad, this year was awesome. not sure what changed.

I rarely use SMS, we managed to co-ordinate via whatsapp easily tho

  9. Im on three and it was fantastic. I was so impressed i even did a few speed tests as i couldnt believe it. Was pulling down 300-400Mb/s on 5G. Insane.

Only issues were when 5G wasnt available (4G was just shite).

My mate on o2 might as well have left his phone at home.

  10. For nicotine i recently switched from disposables to a Vaporesso Xros 3 - It has pods that last a week or so, doesn't leak at all and the battery lasts all day. You can also get nic salts from elf bar and E-Lux disposable brands.

They also do a mini version which seems to be the same spec but smaller... i kinda wish i got that one now.

Any recommendations for vaping THC juice, asking for a friend 😉

Don't get any THC juice, if theyre PG based they will either suck or be spice. Get carts from a reputable (lol) source. Most are dissilate mixed with terpenes but you can find excellent full spectrum rosin or shatter carts if you know where to look. Expect to pay £40-50ml for dissilate and £70-100 for the full spectrum.

Yeah map is gone but the rest of the app remains after a slight rebrand. Hope they’re able to keep going now and the Vodafone app takes a big hit as a result. Serves them right for not having something sorted sooner 👍🏻

Still works for me, with map.

I’m 31 and wouldn’t consider it. If I was 21 maybe. When was the last time you did a full all nighter followed by a 5 day bender?

Im 37 and I've done the last 7 festivals queuing overnight. It's sitting in a camping chair with a few cans, few joints and your mates. No biggie.

@Skip997we spent most the weekend with him.  Long hair, played a nylon string guitar and my mate ended up having a jacuzzi with him on the sunday in the rabbit hole (I think) The water must have been rank after 5 days!

We met this guy. my mates spent a night with him in one of the saunas / bimbling round on mandy. We call him Jules the balls as when he came to our camp for a smoke, he had a "kilt" on (picnic blanket) with his nutsack swinging low and proud. Theres a photo somewhere but i'll leave it to your imagination

You don't need to spoof IP addresses. Creating fake chrome profiles would seem to be enough to create separate sessions that you could have different refresh limits on

Really? Interesting. I hadnt thought to try that. Im sure ive had other devices locked out before when using the same IP tho.
