I've seen a couple of people post similar on Twitter. Turned out they had also got tickets for someone else on t-day and they hadn't paid the balance.

Ah this is it, just rang my mate and 2 of his group haven't paid their full balance, doh.

  2. I've received a £100 refund from Seetickets, the reference number doesn't match my deposit reference or full payment reference.  I've not purchased any other tickets from Seetickets in the last year, has anyone else had a refund they weren't expecting?

Just got a £50 refund. I think it's for a coach package ticket so shouldn't it have refunded the coach travel too? I'm still going it was for one of our group.

Has anyone else received a refund today?

I have just checked my credit card and noticed I've had £100 refund, I've paid 2 ticket balances in full so wasn't due a refund.  Will have to try and contact Seetickets to see what the situation is.

  4. Think I might have to bring out the Cameroon 2002 shirt this year if football shirts irritate people.

Usually see a few Boro shirts at the festival, 5 of us from the area although I'm located down south now, the other 4 are travelling down Wednesday morning.

  5. Most likely going to Courteeners as well, and kind of hoping Foos are the Churnups so Woodies is a little less busy.  There's not much I'm bothered about seeing before either so plenty of time to get there early and sink a few on the grass outside.

Saw Courteeners at Royal Albert Hall in March and they played most of, if not all, St Jude and it was a fantastic night.  Hopefully next week will be just as good.

I dont understand. Is it turning to rain or heat??? So much conflicting info about what the completely made up weather reports are showing

Exactly, we haven't got a clue what's going to happen yet, check back in next week and we might have an idea.

    But stay positive ☀️☀️☀️☀️

I can expand on this. When I camped, we did the "carry everything in one trip" method. Which, especially when you are there early and queuing, is honestly exhausting.

The last year I camped, we decided on multiple trips. And - absolutely key - travel light the first time around, ESPECIALLY if you are queuing. Just take your tent set up.

    • Less trudging with all your stuff.
    • No faffing for tickets / wristbands / having programmes thrown at you when your hands are full.
    • You can then traverse the site FAR quicker to get to the prime camping spot that you are queuing for.
    • You can knock up the tent without worrying about keeping an eye on all your other stuff.
    • You then return to your car, load up all your clothes / booze, and saunter in through the passout entrance without stopping, but also can walk more leisurely back to the pitch.

I think we arrived around 6-7am, got set up and completed the return trip by 1pm, with significantly more energy than zapping everything out of us first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

It's something I don't share that much because if everyone did it, it wouldn't work. But I'm not camping this year so knock yourselves out. You can thank me later 😉

Still the same routine for me this year but the first trip is to take in 5 tents and put them up as I'll be there a lot earlier than my mates traveling from North Yorkshire.

  8. Strange it's on a different link to the usual ticket page:

    Glastonbury Festival Tickets (seetickets.com)

    GLASTONBURY-2023 Tickets and Dates 2023 (seetickets.com)

Seen on Facebook people are getting them.

Tickets via the ‘Buy One Get One Free’ offer must be purchased in pairs. Only registrations pre-approved for Buy One Get One Free can book under this offer. Buy One Get One Free applies to general admission tickets only. Tickets will be charged at £340 per pair (equivalent to £170 each) including VAT and booking fee. Additional items (car parking, campervans, delivery costs, etc.) will be charged at standard rate.

    Suggests disabled with carers.

Exactly this, these ten auctions will probably raise a good 20 grand at least and have absolutely no impact on anyone's enjoyment of the festival.

It's up to £18.5k already with over 6 days of bidding left for the 5 packages put up.

Just back from a 17 mile run. Training for the Brighton Marathon. That was so hard and I don't think I will be able to add 9 more miles...starting to think I won't be able to complete it.

Of course you will, tough conditions at the moment so fair play doing 17 miles a few weeks after Christmas in freezing weather.

FBS cares.  Beans on Toast cares.  May as well have them on if it's a criteria 😛

Throw in Mik Artistik, Billy Bragg and Chris Martin and we have a legend slot filled with the mainstays of Glastonbury for the last ten years!
