I worked for Shelter last year in one of the Avalon bars as a volunteer. There were also people who did bar work for Avalon but were paid for it but not in the same bar as the volunteers. To my knowledge at least two of the paid people were dismissed for turning up drunk for their shift and they were escorted to the bus station.

I found security to be really secure here and they check and recheck not only at WV but every time you go into the  main site. As long as you have the the wristbands there should be no problem.

I seem to remember I bought a steam boat for charity  2 years ago.  I think to do with a Wind mill renovation project  . I have to admit I have not used it in the bath yet !
