  1. Been there 2015 for one day. There are Shuttle busses from Gdynia station to the festival. About 10 min to walk from there. Going well.

The festival site is not very nice. Stages on an airfield. Drinking areas: no alcohol allowed outside those. With distracting a security and a mate carrying it out it's possible. Most exits of the drinking area have 2 securities so you have to wait for a good moment. Not very comfortable and nonsense.

Not the nicest place to be but it was ok.

    Crowd was quite good.

  2. Friends who are going to the Splash festival every year (which is usually 2 weeks before Melt at the same venue with same conditions) always take the VIP and say the benefits are very good and they would not take a "normal" ticket again. I think it just depends on personal preferences, but it definetily seems to be worth the money.

  3. elias was very helpful and sent me some pictures of the VIP secion of stage 1 (old venue). The FOS area is split in the middle and the left part is only VIP and it seems to be easy to go in and out all the time. Great for people who often change between stage 1 & 2.

first time attending and just wondering if they announce the days the acts are playing at the same time as they announce the acts? not able to attend the full festival so just want to choose the best days to go!

They might confirm a date for a certain band if you pm them via Facebook. Worked last year.

  5. 02.03. Liam Gallagher, Paris
    03.03. The Killers, Paris
    04.03. Marteria, Luxembourg
    23.03. Courteeners, Royal Albert Hall
    24.03. Kasabian, Royal Albert Hall
    08.04. Noel Gallagher, Hamburg
    12.06. Guns n' Roses, Gelsenkirchen
    25.06. - 27.06. inMusic Festival, Zagreb
    12.07. - 14.07. Mad Cool Festival

  6. Since it looks like JW is playing Mad Cool I'm hoping that he doesn't play inMusic as well. Not too happy with the headliners announced so far so for me personally it doesn't have to be someone who's also playing somewhere else I'm going. LCD would be quite ok :)

  7. Some months ago Chris from Kasabian said he thinks they will play Open'er this year. No official statement, just in a short chat. BUT he says a lot of stuff and doesn't really know about things sometimes.

Also think AM are more likely considering Kasabian headlined only 3 years back and there would be no reason to hold their name back.

  8. Have decided for this one as my second festival besides Mad Cool this year.  Usually did Rock Werchter and something besides it (last year Sziget).
Last year's inMusic lineup was much better for me (Kasabian + AF + alt-j) but since a friend of mine is studying in Zagreb till August it's just a nice chance for a visit there.

Hoping for one of the Gallaghers to pop up there. Time will tell.

In case it’s useful the DEC20 code works for VIP tickets and also the accommodation packages festicket offer

Used the code for 2 VIP tickets. Quite affordable with the code. My second festival next year is inMusic which is very cheap so I have some money left so spend on a posh Mad Cool trip...

Anyone had a VIP ticket for one of the previous editions? Wondering about that Front of Stage access and how this will work when it's full...
