I'm also volunteering with the recycling crew, I don't mind 6am get ups as it means a guaranteed ticket, still get to see all the bands, maybe one late night in the 'naughty corner'. I enjoyed Glasto so much last year, I'd actually like to volunteer and give something back to the festival. Hopefully meet some great people who are volunteering, and fingers crossed get nice weather like last year.
All in all I feel so lucky to be able to go and explore new places I didn't get to my first time and just enjoy the whole experience.
I see what you mean about a third option, perhaps volunteering to get priority with tickets prior to the festival to secure priority booking - but then when do you draw the line - 10000 priority tickets 20000? How many people would utilise that incentive to secure a ticket?
I guess the current format is inclusive and gives everyone a fair shot.
I hope everyone gets tickets and there will be more happy people on Sunday

This is the point where you get excited that you may get through. At around 5 to 6 it will change to "page can not be displayed". At least, that's what normally happens to me.

Yeah i'm getting the same page saying tickets still available - is this the point it's best to press F5 to get the screen to refresh?

If you are successful in getting through to the booking page, how long do you get to put your details in. I'm trying to help get tickets for friends, but in the had to rely on mates to get through to booking. Thanks

I'd love to see Frank Turner play at Glastonbury - maybe a late afternoon/early evening slot on the pyramid stage.
Given Passenger's increasing popularity over the last year, could be the potential for a slot on the acoustic stage.
I wonder if Bastille would come back and do a slot on the other stage?
Would be pretty happy if Massive Attack played.

i think this year is giin to be worse... The stones effect last year has opened the eyes of those who would not normally put the effort in, but having been and or heard of how special the fest was, will all be trying this year....just a theory(if it makes sense)

Staring to get nervous about the ticket situation. Last year was my first time at Glastonbury and was stoked to see the stones play.
Really hope to be one of the lucky ones that gets to go next year.

Not to mention HOT SHOWERS and 2 meals included each day of volunteering. Plus if complete shifts save £215 quid - more pocket money.
I really shouldn't be so excited about picking up litter!
