Is there no option to add on a bedding pack in WV?
WV is not really a 'glamping' choice - its for convenience, closer parking, no fight to get a spot to pitch your tent. Podpads are provided without electricity and all of the other options they have on any other festival site - so no - no bedding it is just the basics... sorry

We've been lucky enough to get tickets and would also like to know where TF is? which gate do you enter by? Which area is it near to?

Am I the only one that finds this 'snippet' of the map frustrating? I want to see the whole site - do they always do it like this? J

First timer to Kendal and was just wondering if any of the bars / tents will have any cheesy, Motown, Britpop or indie music playing? Something like Hip Shaker for anyone that's been to IOW festival thanks J

Concur on the wrong type of mud....found it utterly energy sapping, so thick and claylike. Watery mud, you can just scoot through but my word for the festival is 'trudging'.
And people stopping for a chat on the metal walkways. Argh!!!
This... stopping on the walkways - infuriating!!!

Brilliant news! At last they've done the right thing! Have a fab time J

If anyone is looking to catch a shuttle to WV (after eventually getting there) there are 4 hour delays, my daughter and her friends had a 12 hour coach journey to get there and were told there's a bus stuck on the hill to WV ...

Absolutely bloody fantastic!! So pleased that this has got a happy ending without the stress of having to go to the site and plead your case.
Youll all have an amazing time... Whoop whoop!!

So car pass arrives but with no other information. We are coming from Scotland. Do we just drive through Glastonbury town then look for relevant worthy view sign posting? Cheers
Ahhh yes basically! On the information email, it gives some directions and the site is signposted, however if you read back through the thread there's a bit more info and a postcode to follow... have a fab time!

Brilliant news! fingers crossed for you x

My understanding is that campervan tickets have names on them, therefore the campervan ticket and the festival ticket have to match? This would mean that you can only go in together and a copy of an ID will not be sufficient ?

Does anyone know how much passes are likely to be on the gate this year? £45?
and seeing as See are rubbish at replying, if I buy one online now is it likely to arrive in time or probs not?
I think See tweeted earlier that they are £40 on the gate - cash only

Hoping to get a Worthy View confirmation email before I fly from Vancouver on Monday, but checking through last year and I didn't receive anything until June 22.
Worthy View confirmation? Is that for your tent? Wow.. You must be so chilled, I'd have been having panic attacks by then!

92% dispatched... Should be 100% today hopefully, let's hope they now get delivered!

10% sent just looked on see dispatch page
not mine... still saying not received, they need to be 100% dispatched by tomorrow to arrive by Saturday - our festival tickets took 2 full days to deliver from the time we got the email (Wednesday email - Friday delivery). I appreciate that See have major events that they've been posting out this week - Coldplay - Stone Roses, but Glastonbury is not a suprise to them, its been in the calendar for a year! Any pressure they find them selves under with people chasing tickets is entirely their own doing (and as a result of this Glastonbury Festival and Worthy View will also have had more queries from people) If I was Glastonbury, I'd need some serious answers to what has gone wrong this year. They've obviously not taken into account that a lot of people will use the full week as a holiday and travel to the South West and spend a few days there before going to the festival, not to mention the international travellers) To be honest with you I would be seriously peed off if I had to go to the 'hut' at the coach park to pick up parking tickets before heading up to WV. Hellooo :-)
BTW I got a PM from WV yesterday. They were very nice and said if passes don't arrive in time, to email them and they will sort out a Plan B - did not indicate what that might be. Still hoping they'll arrive by the end of this week, so I can hand them safely to my 2 friends who live in Gloucs and Worcs (will not be posting them, that's for sure!). I live on the Hants/Wilts border, so it's not as if we can just meet up on the way to Glasto next Wednesday. One week today.....can't flippin wait
Yay! I always find WV office great to deal with, at least I know if they're not received in time, they'll be willing to help! I don't blame you for not posting... It's everyone's worst nightmare that it all goes wrong and there's always a horror story every year! This is the point that I get really excited every year!

Not having the parking ticket isn't the only problem. We're leaving on Sunday and the booking confirmation said that travel instructions would also be included with the car pass. A quick look on google street view shows quite a few ways you could get lost early on Wednesday morning, especially coming in from the west .
In all honesty the directions that have been sent out in previous years have not been any more than those on the information email that you will have received the other day. The post code is a little earlier in this thread, so it may be best to use that J

Think I must have just replied to your tweet! Asked the question of See/GlastoFest whether a copy of the confirmation email would be acceptable to stewards in the event the passes are not received in time. No reply...however, I think with enough of us being complete pests, we'll get an answer soon, if not the damn passes!
Ahhh yes I wondered if it was you!! I Really think something has gone wrong with ticket dispatch for the festival, this year. I tweeted WV earlier but the accounts not been active today, hopefully you'll get a response regarding using confirmations although I think that might be difficult as people could pass the parking tickets on to someone and also use a confirmation so it'll be very difficult for them to police! Let's hope pester power works!
