    Hi! It’s me again.

how big are the pods? On photos they look tiny! Can two people get ready in them comfortably? Or is it you in - I’m out affair?

I was thinking of the pod but it looks tiny. Rabbit hutch springs to mind.

I've got one of these, very sturdy and had no issues. The tyres tend to lose a little air over the winter so just need pumping up at the start of festival season and you're good to go. Was a bit of a ball ache dragging it through the very thick mud of 2016 but I'd probably over loaded it and everyone seemed to be struggling that year, all other trips have been fine.

Used these for last few years and very reliable. Very sturdy and fold up nicely. You can use year after year. They are heavy but suppose they need to be. It's still not easy to pull over rough terrain and it might be that the 4 wheeler does a better job but of course you need the space to bring in the first place.

  3. 2010 was my first.

Work colleague had teased me about going to WOMAD the previous year suggesting I needed to 'man-up' and go to a proper festival like Glastonbury. As many others have expressed with their first experience the 'scales fell from my eyes' and I vowed that I would have to go to every subsequent Glastonbury if fit and able - being 48 years young in 2010.

Thankfully managed to keep to my vow thanks to the tickets gods but more lately relying upon resales. Each one has been brilliant and still fills me with awe particularly when looking across from top of Park.

  4. We had iPads, laptops and 4G phones (Vodaphone and EE) all on the go with 6 people trying using Safari, Firefox and Chrome browsers.

Only iPad using Firefox got through to enable 6 tickets to be purchased and that was after 25 minutes - thought we were going to be unlucky as we failed in main sale for last 2 years.

However, resale has worked last two years so cross fingers for others.

  5. I remember someone at See Tickets saying last year that there would no resale. I think officially they do not want to generate a lot of interest but as and when they become available they are quietly made available....

  6. Every year I go this same friend says it will be better watching on BBC in the comfort of their armchair at home.... it's laughable I know but I just smile.

I think some people feel the need to express a reason why they can't go/wouldn't go and/or are not interested which is absolutely fine. If you not up for the challenge of serious fun and a mind blowing, life challenging experience every year then fine sit in front of BBC iPlayer.

  7. Took my 12 year old many years ago and was the best thing we did. She is on number 4 already and hugely into music. The school has been fine to date about her missing a few days but with the recent court case we hope they remain enlightened. She studies A Level politics now and of course there is lots at Glastonbury to educate in that respect.

There was a tweet from seetickets.com advising you to call for car parking after the resale

    Seetickets tweet

Most excellent advice. I have just bought a separate car park ticket this way for £45 with no transaction fee added so it is cheaper than on the day. Ring the number you suggest - had to hold on for 5 minutes or so - and the car park ticket is added to your booking so it all arrives in the same delivery with your tickets.

See tickets did say to me that closer to the time their website will allow purchase of general car park tickets.

    Thanks for your help

  9. Sorry if this has been answered before but can anyone provide a link to buying a general car park ticket? I can only find a link to buying a ticket to the Worthy View car park. I have read that you can buy on the gate but would prefer to sort in advance.

  10. Ok here is my experience.

Needed 4 tickets and tried for Ticket+Coach resale ( 2 at a time) on Thursday and like many others spent ages trying to find a coach having got through and entered registration details but it was like musical chairs as all the options for destinations disappeared. Having failed realised that if in same situation again need to go straight to Thursday as most folk I suspect start with Wednesday and then move on. Lesson - go straight to Thursday to leap ahead and accept you may be putting your tent later than others.

So having felt pretty bad about the above I went for the numbers. Me and 13 others tried in the General Resale with a combination of iPhones with 4G, macs and iPads. 3 of us got through to payment page but first one had blocked others but no worries. Lesson - it's all about maximising your chances.

Great relief will be my no.7 since 2010. Aged 55 and taking 3 adult kids like a shepherd watching his flock.

  11. Quick question to help with my attempt in resale.

We are going for two tickets and I am happy to use my card to pay when on the booking page in resale (assuming I am very very lucky and make it to this stage) but I do not want to be the lead booker. Reason being I am holiday for first part of June and I do not want the tickets being sent to me while I am away - how do I make sure that the lead booker is the other person and does it matter that my card is being used? Is the lead booker simply the first person you enter at the top of the booking page?

We were discussing that earlier today on this very thread. Dates (following last year's schedule) should be the Thursday 13th and Sunday 16th, but that will be Easter weekend so they might move them to the following week.

Last year coach resale tickets sold out in 20mins and general resale tickets sold out in 14mins.

Yeah I got two in coach resale last year but many commented that they didn't get a sniff in general

Almost impossible to say but i would be surprised if it is over 10K.

As I didn't manage to get one in the initial sale, I'm hoping it will be fucking loads.

I have seen people on here speculate that it might be circa 10% but nothing official
