Anyone hear the guy from Eagull's response when the host asked him if he met David Letterman?

I keep going back to Wild Beasts and appreciate that a lot of people like them I just can't get into them
-
I think they've messed up here - they know the reaction that sort of thing will get. yeah it's all publicity for their remasters annoucement but all the people who'd be interested will immediately have bad sentiment towards them because they were expecting something a lot more.
They should've just dropped it I think instead of advertising it - they'll just disappoint many of the fans they are targeting
-
Ok the fact that they aren't headlining surely blows them out of the water as Glasto headliners? I'd like them to be at Glasto but wouldnt want them headlining
-
Elbow are at T in the Park, i'm not sure if they're headlining, but I guess this makes them less likely?

Illegal music downloads forces bands to tour more to get their money, artists need to work harder than they used to
-
Was really hoping for Chase & Status, not that Chic isn't legendary, just the few times I've seen Chase & Status live they've actually blown me away, they would've deserved it.

The festival is only a week after Glastonbury, in belgium, so could we not expect quite a few of the non headline acts to show at glasto?
-
Would it not be right to think that most of Eavis' money is being spent on the 3rd headliner, since Kasabian and Arcade Fire would not be the most expensive acts? Really hoping it's something BIG and exclusive, Daft Punk, Bowie?!
-
To be fair, how do you top having; biggest rock band of the 2000s, biggest rock band ever and biggest band of the 2010s so far
-
One of the biggest selling acts in the world ever, one of the most critically acclaimed acts of the last couple of decades, one of Britain's biggest mainstream acts, probably the biggest and most famous act from their genre ever, one of the most influential electronic acts ever and an act with a large cult following, who's headlining another UK festival.
Pretty wide ranging to me.

If pyramid and other stage headliners go along something like Arcade Fire, Pixies, Metallica, Eagles, Massive Attack, Kasabian and Beck I think we're looking at what I think is a very niche set of headliners, for the younger generation anyway, I don't think it would appeal very much - which is a good thing for people looking to get a ticket in the resale
-
Yep, Rolf Harris

Kinda disappointed with the rumours of Eagles, so was wondering if there's still hope for a surprise?

From what I've heard reading reviews and friends who are fans and seen them, their live show is pretty pants
