  1. My best guess right at this moment is Metallica.

I believe that Glasto started speaking with them about headlining the Saturday night on the Pyramid, but that Metallica's deal with Soni put a stop on that.

I think (but don't know) that the pencilling-in of Prince as a hoped-for headliner then had him move from Sunday to Saturday as a result of that.

As Metallica are likely to be the biggest booked act on the bill currently not headlining the Pyramid, then to me it makes sense* that Glasto would at least revisit the idea and see if it might be do-able somehow.

(* unless they do already have a suitable act standing by).

My view on this might change before the end of the day, as there's a Soni announcement due today.

  2. So, I got my grubby mitts on a copy of the new Pharrell album yesterday and, as expected, it is excellent.

I'd love to see him on the Pyramid, however am not sure if they'd have him back after the infamous "N*E*R*D" incident of 2009.

Has anyone heard the album? What do you think? Do you think there's any chance of him at Glasto this year?

  3. Seeing Chase & Status DJ Sets popping up on a lot of line ups, thought it would be quite possible they could be at glasto, but at a lower place than their full on live show that they did last year?

  4. Wombats are unusual as they only seem to do foreign festivals... can't remember the last time I saw them on a uk lineup.. .are they hated??

I'm not their biggest fan by any means but think they'd be pretty fun to see

  5. 27/06 Beuningen, Netherlands - Down the Rabbit Hole Festival

29/06 Poznan, Poland - Malta Festival

30/06 Berlin, Germany - Astra Kulturhaus

    1/07 Hamburg, Germany - Gross Freiheit 36

    Maybe next year then.
