Site Improvements (it is a wish list..)

More Screens at the pyramid, have 2 stacked in the current position  (or large vertical rectangular ones) with the ones the have now next to them, Pyramid field is near enough perfect either way though

Rethink of The Other Stage, zero atmosphere if your more than 50/60 meters back, regardless of whose playing or what time, it's not sloped like the pyramid though which seems to have great atmosphere near enough anywhere

Shangri-la - change it up Hell stage was rubbish last year and heaven not much better, small venues like Shangrilati where amazing though, so either give them slightly more space or add 1/2 more and have them stay open till 8 fri/sat aswell

Also too many high profile DJs playing in the low capacity Love Bullets venue with the hour long ques for entry into LBHQ causing the majority of crowd flow issues at the back of Shangri-la, have a bigger % of these acts playing on the Hell Stage, common sense having the biggest acts on the biggest stage

Unfairground - Have a venue of similar size of Bez's Acid House (which was great last year but long waiting times) in same field there seems to room if get rid of those pointless fair game thingieos

The Park - Have some of the tents (Stonebridge etc) stay open later will help with distribution of crowds in the night

The Common - Slowly becoming the best late area, increase the temples size/capacity if possibly and squeeze in another venue, seems to enough space there especially with the dead space in glasto latino

Former John Peel area - Have they already announced what's being put there? Just camping? If not then an outdoor cinema with one or 2 bars, possibly showing the euros etc

+ more bins at the stone circle!

  2. Augmented Reality with the added use of Internet would be too big a drain on battery and Internet to bother using I think.

The current app works perfectly for looking at the line up and selecting who you'd like to see. As other people have said the likes on footstall and shop info added to the map would be the only real useful benefit to add the app. The lack of good connections on the site didn't really help the find your tent/friends features last year.

  3. Fleetwood Mac - 7/10 great band but not a massive fan, would happily have them headline

Daft Punk - 2/10 Headline the pyramid? No chance couldn't pull it off, 10/10 for headlining Shangrila or a vastly improved dance stage/arcadia

Depeche Mode - 4/10 I'd love to see them, laughable there being considered, then again as again we've had far far worse

Bowie - 10/10 Would be great

Elbow - 3/10 Would give me an excuse to watch a different stage headliner

Oasis - 6.5/10 Can't see it happening, would it be any good

Prince - 10/10 we can dream

Kasabian - 1/10 Not good enough

Arcade Fire - 6/10 Not my cup of tea

  4. Had camp set up by about 10AM tried to get a power nap in but couldnt fall asleep (had been up like about 1PM Tuesday aswell).

Ended up having a few drinks round the camp till about 1:30PM, then off exploring, ended up at the brothers bar, then then smallish tent near the cabaret tent that was really packed playing alot of disco tunes, wandered round shangrila etc after there then ended u in London Underground til about 2 which was really good, then the stone circle for sunrise

  5. 3 of each, Elbow seem to be the only nailed on atm though

    Pyramid -

    Elbow/Fleetwood Mac/Led Zep/Lady Gaga/Daft Punk/Kanye West

    Other -

    New Order/Bloc Party/Arcade Fire/Florence & the machine/ The Prodigy/The Black Keys

  6. Bringing two of them four wheeled garden trolleys between our group, more food and disposable bbq (cba walking to stalls in morning for something to eat) oh and bring more rum.

also going to spend a fair few hours in the heading/green fields on Thursday day, and try to get a power nap in wednesday day so I last longer in the night

  7. Sound was terrible unless you where within the inner of the speaker towers.

The place emptied out quite abit when Chase and Status came on, on Saturday, at least a quarter of the crowd where expecting Daft Punk haha.

Best was when we where leaving the stones nwar arcadia and some rah boy on the the phones going 'yahh where just waiting for Daft Punk, no one knows there on though'

  8. Only came across two people during the entire festival causing any sort of trouble, neither of which happend to be from Liverpool. One girl looked horrified when I shouted after her that she'd dropped her jumper, some people must just be scarred of the accent...

You tend to find that the majority of 'scally scousers' at the festival arent even from Liverpool, but satellite towns like Kirby and Huyton, over emphasizing there accents.

Incredibly stupid and bigoted to even think that each area of the country doesn't bring their fare share of idiots to the festival though
