  1. Lighting up the bike trailer/pram is a must. We had some the first time we took them but not enough and then last year we attached some lights that people could see before they came to the bike trailer

  2. Do we think there is a best time to enter the brothers codes since the winner is selected by time rather than the actual code? I've only drank between 7-9pm and entered the codes when I've cracked open the can. Is it worth trying a code at 10am since it is a festival cider

  3. It is badger and some young bloke. They were there last year, involved mash potato and he got all the kids on stage and they took turns at stirring the mash, they loved it

  4. Most of the places I’ve camped lime Kiln and Big ground don’t have much of an atmosphere anyway. Since the tents get so packed in together not many people sit outside the tent and chat. People are generally in their tent or up and into the festival. 10-15 years ago you had space and fires so there was a lot more hang around the tent.

Your wish is my command 😂

Can of cider number 133 turned out to be the lucky one. Who knew?

This happened on Friday but I had no contact with anyone from Brothers until today, so I held off posting.

    I didn't sleep all weekend.

    Still can't actually believe it.

Keep going everyone, there could be more winners on here.

If I can win, anyone can.

Congrats. I’ve 2 cans in the fridge, need to get them opened tonight when I get home. I was thinking about the codes on the way to work. Brothers can’t have said code x,y and z have tickets allocated to them because those cans might never get opened, could be stuck at the back of a warehouse somewhere. Unless they do and if the tickets don’t get won towards the closing date and then they randomly allocate tickets to a code that gets inputted on the last day or something.

About half (ish) the size of the regular ones and they have the codes on them. They’re so cute! 😂 They’re in B&M £1 a can in Wales, probably cheaper everywhere else because we have the stupid alcohol tax 😂🙈

They are £1 in England as well, I bought a couple from B&M the other day and won a survival pack. It’s better to be smaller anyway so you can spend £5 and have 5 chances to win but if you bought the bigger cans probably only get 3 chances

  7. Congratulations to everyone who got tickets. I missed out for the first time since 2007. Well I didn’t go in 2019 but we had just had a baby so decided to give it a miss.
For the ticketless will you be doing anything special for Glastonbury weekend and be watching everything available or pretending the whole thing isn’t happening?
My friends who have never been and don’t want to go have a party and get the projector set up outside. We’ve been I invited to go but at the moment I just want to pretend it’s not on this year

An ok for a festival 30 litre Trespass rucksack with some bits and pieces included, all Brothers branded. A multi connector usb lead, small power bank, hand gel,  metal water bottle, wipes, lanyard and lip stuff.  Not at a bad prize.

That’s good. Let’s hope I get tickets in a few hours so I can use it

  9. Echo what everyone has said here with camping in Wickets. The toilets are very clean but a bit of a queue in the morning, not the kids ones they generally go straight in. We would just leave wickets and go to the long drops and urinals in woodsies. Literally a 30 second walk and most of the time completely empty and they had been cleaned by 8.30 every morning so I had my pick of 100 long drops.

The cafe next to Wicket did ok breakfasts. I had a couple of fry ups and the kids loved the pastry options. My wife only drinks Yorkshire tea so she took her own teabags and they would give her hot water for free to make her tea.

Haha same though I followed a couple of bands and Glastonbury just in case it was flagged as some sort of spam!

I’ve followed Glastonbury and Liverpool now

they killed row mead last year,,,,,,camped there 15odd years,,,,,, I can't see them opening it again.. they'll put food stalls up the back of it and make loads of money 💰🤑...so that will be a nice place for kids etc..outside the jp stage issue nice in the afternoon and it's got a bar so we like to chill there..not got Tix for this one.. first time in 20 years lolol.. have a good one..

I haven’t got tickets this year either. Unsure about trying in the resale yet. Some of my best few hours at Glastonbury were chilling on the pyramid field with my mates and a few cans on the Thursday whilst they were doing sound check’s playing Neil Young songs

Did you see example.s crowd last year... I'd never seen the glade area so rammed.. impressive

Ive only seen videos of it, looked rammed. I go with my kids now 4 and 6 so avoid areas I know will be busy which is basically any where with live music on Thursday now. We went up to the park mid afternoon on the Thursday and the whole area was rammed we just gave it a miss. They really could do with utilising the pyramid field somehow on the Thursday to get a few thousand people there.

This is also applicable to just about any really busy set. As long as you are in the area well in advance you tend not to have issues.

people turn up to something 5-10 mins before and then moan….

But this is a busy set with nothing else on. If the glade can take 2000 people it doesn't matter if people turn up 5 minutes before or an hour before. If 10000 people turn up an hour before there's going to be issues

  14. We didn't get tickets and decided against the resale a few weeks ago and spent the money on a holiday to Morocco.

However since the line up announcement this morning even though we don't think its great the excitements its caused has had us questioning if we can get the money together to try. We will see our financial situation around re-sale day.

Missed out on a ticket this year, was absolutely devastated at the time and been dreading this day for months.

Glasto know they can throw their weight around to justify the £360. They could have Basel Brush headline and people would still go. Whether that’s right or wrong I don’t know but it’s just the way it is.

First time lurkers/ people going for the first time, do not let it bother you if you hate the line up. It’s still an unbelievable experience.. the weather is 10 x more important imo. They’ll always be something to do. Have a toffee apple cider on my behalf and get stuck in! Enjoy all!!

I saw Basil Brush last year and he put in a good performance I thought. Most of crowd didn't know who he was, my 3 and 5 year olds didn't

I think Dua might suprise people …

She will have the second biggest crowd of the weekend after Coldplay. She has songs people know even if they aren't massive fans and the draw of the Pyramid stage on the first night, especially to first timers will be huge

  17. We've got ready by deciding we aren't in for the resale and will be giving this year a miss. Straight after ticket day we said we weren't going but after a few days decided to have a go in the resale. Since then we've got tickets to Towersey festival which will give the kids 5 days camping and some live music. We can't afford Glastonbury and a holiday abroad so since we missed the main sale we've just booked Marrakech for a week in May so Glastonbury for us this year is this year is officially out. At the minute I'm feeling ok about it but I know when the line up drops I will be gutted, especially if you do get the National and Pulp.
