Last train on Friday and Saturday are both 22-37. Sunday's last train is 22-32.

This^I've got a german army poncho that i bought from an army and navy store in kirby lonsdale in cumbria. You could live under it. Its essentially a sheet of rubber.
And you can have a pi$$ inside, saves you missing bands.

I have looked everywhere cos I didn't want to create a new topic going over old ground, but can't see anything, did I dream it or did XFM yesterday suggest that the biggest rumour Glasto wise at the moment is that the Foo fighters are gonna open the festival doing the "Beady eye " slot? They've picked up on Dave Grohll's tweets and other such hints from the band.
Sorry if it's been done before.

I think people are far too sensitive these days, the slightest comment and your lambasted for being racist, sexist, fattest, pathetic, we Brits (sorry if the term upsets anyone) used to be able to laugh at ourselves, not now, maybe it's the claims culture, be careful of what you say and how you say it or you'll be sued. I blame it on the wet lettuce students and keyboard warriors, it appears they all need to have someone to protect!

Disaster!!!! have camper van but needs new gearbox.... So will be digging out my tent.....however I always arrive Fri night and squeeze in on the edge of the camper van field- never been a problem and easy to get out on Mon, however..... Will it be possible to find a spot for a tent??? Where is best to head for???? Thanks.

Beer tent at the Tor side of the Pyramid, across the Pyramid stage field,beer tent there, onto cider bus, move on to Bourbon street type area, Brothers cider bar, Queens head (know it's not called that), up to Bimble inn in the Park, beer tent in the Park. I know it's not the perfect route but I do get confused when trying to think of directions!

There is a topic elsewhere that I started but to save you ploughing through the threads it was suggested to me that Pylon ground and Rivermead are pretty quiet, enough room even come fri/Saturday apparently.

I prefer not knowing until nearer the time. Have they had trouble shifting re-sale tickets in the past?
There's never a shortage of acts I'm keen to see but the line-up's not integral to my enjoyment of the festival anyway. There's so much more to the festival than the live music and I end up seeing people I'd never usually bother with elsewhere.

Right everyone, for the first time since 2002 we can't come down early Wednesday morning, looks like we're gonna land about 10am on Thursday. Now this is the rub, does anyone have any idea where we are likely to find clumps of ground to fit on five tents, I know it's one of those how long's a piece of string type thing! Seem to remember 2011 we came back into camp after going to our car on Saturday dinner time, think it was near the drop off point, it appeared that there was bags of room left on the Saturday so wonder if anyone could point us in the right direction regarding fields/entrance gates to give us a fair start without having to Yomp too far?
