  1. Go hippy for a few days :)

I always opt for low maintenance haircuts (I get bored spending hours to look the same!) so Yes few weeks before I get my haircut, inform hairdresser where I'm off too, then once there dry shampoo works a treat :) failing that always the hat look.

And by the end of the festival everyone has the festival look going on anyways!!

Miami was the worst, GHD's and hairdryer had half the normal power had to wash hair everyday from beach and clubbing so had the curly hair look on for a week! bit of wax scrunch it up and your done :)

  2. I went to poundland on Sat what an experience that was!!

    I brought..

    wet wipes

    Pegs

Space blankets x 2 packs so 4 in total

    Box to put medicines in

    Hot chocolate

    Toothbrushs

Didn't see any Bungiee rope things :(

And last mth I got a trolley from Homebase :)

I had a phone call from a friend at the weekend, who got a bit too excited over a new kettle!!!

  3. I have one of these

I think thats it, hate carrying too much about

Oh maybe a birthday banner as it's my B'day at Glasto not decided yet

  5. To be frank I think you've left it a bit late for serious walking boots; it's taken me a year to break in my latest pair. With most things you get what you pay for, as I'm sure you've found out with your Hunters.

I'd recommend walking boots and gaiters, did me fine in the “I survived the 2007 mud” mud. The trainers you’ve linked to would be fine if it’s … er … fine, no good in the wet though.

You could just get a camp chair, a massive flag and a cool box and plant yourself in front of the pyramid all weekend but you’re not one of those are you?

  6. Thanks folks, I'll take my wellies (won't need them) Flip flops and some of those walking shoes from millets in place of trainers as my trainers are all funked!

Crocs are a health hazard and no one looks good in them!! Sorry I'm anti croc

  7. Bit boring but what's the best footwear to be walking about in?

Having broke my leg in 08 between the other stage and Dance Village entrance, wearing wellies on the Fri night half drunk is an experience I don't fancy repeating, So i've upgraded to hunter wellies which worked a treat at Bestival along with trainers during the dry weather, but as Glasto is a million times bigger....

Just wondering if something like these http://www.millets.co.uk/footwear/women/product/082776/womens-adventure-low-shoes.html?attribute=3683470 will be good for the dry weather wondering about?

Any advice will be greatly received

    Many thanks
