I have got my festival chair out in the garden and sitting in the sun listening to Slowdive. Trying to think about packing list now as the next couple of weeks are really busy

I usually go for pineapple vodka for evenings, as it goes down a treat, and avoids too many trips to the loo. My usual tipple is Ciroc, but the Au one is pretty nice too. I am off to see if there are any offers now.

Thanks @deanol. I do think the theatre and circus areas are not given the plaudits they deserve, as there are some world class acts on there.
I will definitely add some of these to the list. I have seen Fank Sanazi previously and the first time, when we did not know what to expect, creased us all up when he came on and started singing. It is definitely worth a visit.

Ticket delivered now, so just got to keep it safe for the next three weeks. Also, more importantly now, I must remember where I have put it for safe keeping.

Just got my dispatch notifications as well. Here they come...

Found my camping chair from the shed. Made a minor repair to the bag, but it will do another year.

Got the same "Tickets have been sent to our secure courier on 25 May 2023" message.
I'll be sitting waiting for postie now!

We started at the Avalon Inn on Wed last year, and 5 hours later were still there. May try to walk a bit more this year, though it may end up the same 🙂
Thanks for the suggestions, I may well use this.

Clashes permitting, I'll be there for Sharron Shannon.
I'll be there too

It's funny how people's tastes differ, but this is ACE for me. I will be there every day I think.
Definitely want to see Lisa O'Neill (hopefully the is there, following other comments), Martin Stephenson is always great and also one of my festival feel good favourites Sharon Shannon.
there are others I have never seen and would be tempted, depending on other clashes.
Just need to fight my way through the perimeter chair barriers...

The year or so before Sharon Shannon also played in there. Mike Scott wasn’t booked or billed, despite Glastonbury song being in the charts, but bounded up on stage to guest with her and play it. He did the same for Ian McNabb at his set at a very early afternoon outdoor set at, I think, the Pyramid.
I think I may have seen that too, but details of the early 90's festivals are a little sketchy these days.

I remember watching Mike Scott followed by Sharron Shannon in the Acoustic in 1995. It seemed everyone else was watching Oasis on the Pyramid, but I don't regret it at all, as they were both great.

I'm another that will see at least a few in the acoustic every year. Waiting for a few gems when the poster comes out.

It is Anchor Road (rather than anchorage), and just across the road from the Travelodge. I stayed there a few years ago before catching the coach, and removed any stress from the journey.
