I have one of these for use at festivals- very useful to store your phone without the worry about losing it.

Thanks everyone for the tent recommendations

Just been looking at all of the Quechua fresh and black tents. There are loads of different models. Any recommendations on specific models?

I has a look as well, but no joy. From memory, they do pop up from time to time.

No joy for our lot. Solo for me for the first time ever.

I bought a (now quite rare) t-shirt at the festival in 1992 (or 1993). It was quite dear at the time so took a bit of deciding before I bought it. I have worn it to every festival since!
I have a managed to find a spare over the years, but they do fetch a fair price now.

I'm in!! 🤩
Been hiding for a while as couldn't face the chat while I did not have a ticket. Got a coach on Thursday from Reading. Not ideal, but it will certainly do. I was the only one of us that would go by coach, so at the moment I am on my own, which would be a first. Just got so see if I can get my other friends tickets on Sunday.

I got through to the reg page maybe even just before 6pm, couldn't tell... Entered the details and took me back to the holding page. Not a sniff after.

Poor planning on my part, but I am redecorating at the moment, so stuff is all over the place. I will just have to try as best I can tonight with a couple of devices.

There is no way they are worried about selling out. The interest over the last 10 years has increased exponentially and it is now definitely a social media bucket list must do activity.
There must be something seriously wrong with the registration database to cancel at this last minute.

We will hopefully all be available for the new dates, but have not checked with the others in the group yet (I don't know if I have anything organised for me that weekend!). There may need to be some forum spirit in the next couple of weeks to assist those who can't make the new sale dates. I will try and help out if possible.

Weather was lovely. Mud dried up nicely and ground was nice and soft. I would take this weekend every year (once you got past the initial set up).
Makes such a difference to be able to sit on the grass and relax.

I have got my eye on Twickets at the moment, as my daughters may come if the price is right.
There will definitely be a lot of people left with tickets if they want full price unfortunately.
Not sure when the resale cut off is though, I assume they will be on until at least mid next week.

In my experience, the mobile reception is pretty poor at Larmer Tree Gardens.
I am currently with O2, and it was not good at all. Does anyone have any better experience with other networks, or is it all poor?

True. Due to finish at 22:00 on Sunday but we were let off a little early. I started walking towards the Pyramid area, but it was jammers everywhere. I eventually managed to cross along the very upper edge and tried to go and see Rickie Lee Jones. There were very few people there and poor Rickie Lee was completely drowned out by the sound coming from the Pyramid. Friends stayed for a while, but apparently at some point she said she would play one more song and call it a day, as she couldn't hear herself. I feel that something like the Sawdoctors might have worked a little better in that Sunday slot opposite Elton.
I went back towards the Pyramid and listened from far away. If I had headed straight for QOTSA instead I probably would have had a better time...
I decided to watch Gilbert O'Sullivan just before Elton John, and it started out with a couple of hundred, but as it got past 8:30, the numbers dwindled a lot. Whilst there was no noise to fight against, I did feel for him, as it was quite sparse in the Acoustic.
Gilbert was very professional and put on an excellent show, and was very well received by all of us that stayed until the end.

Sound bleed from Stonebridge to the Park is ludicrous. It was even a problem during the Pretenders, FFS, so how it works for gentler acts is behind me.
I don't understand why this happens year after year. It totally spoils the Park stage atmosphere and makes it hard to listen to a lot of acts.
Surely that person responsible for the Park area is aware of this - as everyone else is.

I managed to get to the Crows Nest to see a few things this year. It always amazes me that you can see great acts from a few feet away in such an intimate location.
I saw the Mary Wallopers on Friday, after their Acoustic performance. It was jumping and there seemed to be a number of their mates in the audience having a friendly mosh. It was so fun.
I then saw Mozart Estate play to only 30 or so. I missed their earlier show, so was delighted to see Lawrence performing. They put on a great performance, although I think he would have preferred it be be a little busier.
Also got to see Beth Orton on Sunday afternoon. It was pretty packed in there, both in the audience and on stage, with the full band squeezed in. She played a couple of songs then took requests from the audience. She made my mates festival highlight (and one of his all time highlights) when she played his favourite song, which they had not played live for years.
