Anyone at gate D now? Has the queue gone yet?
-
I'm not arriving til midnight. I am hoping you are right about Dairy, I think there is usually space there even on the thursday isnt there?!
-
A couple of sort of relevant pictures from me on the last day.
This thread has been great fun and has really helped me deal with the fallow year and the build up to getting tickets on T Day. Its been a great team effort and I feel part of a real community as I always do at Glastonbury.
I hope to see some of you later on today.
Firstly a tractor protest in the Glastonbury spirit
a close up
and finally and not without a hint of sadness........
No more tractors anymore!
Whatever happened to Massey Ferguson?
He got a pitch fork
That made his ears burn
Whatever happened to dear old Iseki?
The great Valtra, and John Deere?
Whatever happened to the tractors?
Whatever happened to the tractors?
Whatever happened to all the tractors?
All the Combine Harvesters?
They watched their stubble burn
Whatever happened to the tractors?
Whatever happened to the tractors?
No more tractors any more
No more tractors any more
Whatever happened to all the tractors?
All the Combine Harvesters?
They watched their stubble burn
Whatever happened to the tractors?
Whatever happened to the tractors?
No more tractors any more
No more tractors any more
Definitely time for me to go. Goodbye!

Park is also filling up on the webcam
Hope Dairy still has space this afternoon!

Very sorry to hear this
As above always use paypal and use a 'goods' transaction. Works in the buyers favour. You can add on the tax if they insist.

Was about to post that,
Orange is on the West side
-
I meant pennards!

Dan Delaney posted this in the Orange Carparks thread
Car Parks are split into an east side and a west side... depending on where you come from in the UK will decide what side you end up on, due to the size of the festival you aim for a postcode which is the beginning of the official routes to the festival, stick to these when local as there is a very large number of roads closed so you may end up being stuck somewhere or get told off by someone.
Directions• From London: M3 then A303 and A37. (Sat Nav TA11 7DP).• From the North East: A1 or M1, M25 to M3 (Junction 12), then A303 and A37. (Sat Nav TA11 7DP)• From the Midlands: Preferably M40 and A34 to A303 and A37. (Sat Nav TA11 7DP)• From the North West: M6, M5 to A39 (Junction 23) then A361. (Sat Nav BA6 9XE)• From Wales: M4, M5 to A39 (as above) (Sat Nav BA6 9XE)• For more local traffic using the A37 North or A361 East (Sat Nav BA4 4LY)It is possible to get from one side of the site to another this is where the colour routes come in, a useful tool to use is the glasto earth layer for google earth this shows all the routes up to and around the festivalI hope that helps rather than confuses -
Mad the lot of you!
Must be a great atmosphere though and I hope you get the camping spot that you always wanted in the sales tomorrow.
Let me know when the queues have cleared and we will turn up then
-
Thanks again wickedfaerie

I would get the metrolink from Victoria to Piccadilly Gardens and then walk along Portland Street to the coach station
From Eccles again get the metrolink into town
-
836 so far!

Have any of you WIVers actually arrived yet?
Whats it like? Claustrophobic or Cosy?
Have you got a view of the sunset over the valley?
Pics please
-
Ignore the less appropriate comments on here Liz.
You will have a great time
The festival is big but it is also broken down into areas that are like festivals within a festival. If you dont like the larger stages you can try the smaller scale ones.
Everyone is really friendly. We look forward to seeing you at the cider bus tomorrow.
-
Hmmm. Did someone win a ticket for that?
-
I worked the Other stage T shirt stall in 2011
It should be open again on Thursday afternoon this year and had plenty of festival merchandise left through Saturday last time
It did sell out of a lot of stuff come Sunday but.......
If they havent got what you want in the size you want buy it from the website when you get home. They stock up again after the festival.
There is really no need to buy something that doesnt fit in desperation

I will post something with you tomorrow Mrs E before setting off
Here is another picture of that zero carbon hydrogen tractor that you posted the other day
