"Other Lives, Low Anthem, Dirty Three, Andrew Bird. That's pretty awesome."
I thought we already knew about most of these? Other Lives and Hawley are new, aren't they?
Overall, the lineup looks good, I'm sure not complaining

A lot of these guys seem pretty sure about it - https://whyweprotest.net/community/threads/end-of-the-road-festival-england-has-scientology-connections.47011/page-2
Some even seem to be trying to shut it down.

I have to rescind my previous comments about Gaslight Anthem - get em in, 59 Sound is a great album.
-
Nah, I reckon that's why they sold out early last year, because people were garanteed of a good line up.
-
Brilliant announcement, so much better than EOTR's. Shame it's still bang in the middle of exams
-
Meh.
-
Can't imagine MMJ wouldn't be headlining - although they could be headliners and a UK festival exclusive.
-
Got Springsteen tickets

Some might not strictly be love songs but:
Sufjan Stevens - To Be Alone With You
Blind Pilot - 3 Rounds and a Sound
Bon Iver - Skinny Love
Decemberists - Red Right Ankle
Death Cab For Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark
Iron & Wine - Such Great Heights
Jose Gonzales - Heartbeats
Matthew & The Atlas - Within The Rose
Ryan Adams - O' My Sweet Carolina
The Shins - New Slang
Spoon - I Summon You
And I know they're not really cutesy folk but they are good love songs:
Wolf Parade - "This Heart's on Fire" and "I'll believe in anything"
Low - Nothing But Heart

I will do my best to. Although I think you can get them to start sending you their catalogue.
-
Even closer than my username would suggest. It's a good one for pretty relaxed bands and it has an amazing line-up of comedians, all doing their warm-up tours. Al Murray's been there, Dara O'Briain and I'm see Chris Addison with a few friends next saturday. Always good value.

Hmmm. Clearly a strict curfew at Forest Arts.
-
Emily Barker at Forest Arts tonight.

Yeah, Bon Iver was pretty epic and I have to disagree, the solo Re: Stacks made it's beauty stand out even more. Colin Stetson's circular breathing may have been a bit annoying before Blood Bank but they completely ripped that up. It was such a great night - even if I had to get there two hours before doors to get front centre - other highlights were of course Wolves and Skinny Love but as well Perth and a little surprisingly for me, Calgary.
I thought Kathleen Edwards was alright but nothing special.

Well, seeing that tonight so sounds good going by that review. Benjamin Francis Leftwich was good value last night but a bit samey.
-
Benjamin Francis Leftwich on Sunday and Bon Iver on Monday, should be good.
-
Haven't listened to it al but it's really pretty good so far - not sure about the title though

Well, having seen one of Ghent's biggest (quite literally) pop stars at a rather beer-fuelled cycling event last year I would be rather interested to hear that story. In the meantime I will have a listen to this.
-
New Feist is great - she was very good on Jools last night as well.
-
Very sad about Bert Jansch. RIP.
-
MMJ and Frightened Rabbit would be great but I can't understand Gaslight Anthem and I am very pleased to have Mr Finn onside with me.

wasn't there*

Good chance of the Shins with their new album I reckon.
