So many positives at the moment I don't know where to start!
+ Just seen Mark Kozelek at Union Chapel tonight and he was brilliant
+ EOTR in only 3 weeks!
+ before EOTR I get to see Other Lives next Thurs (Sue - come!), Pete Doherty on Sat, The Black Atlantic and Rue Royale at 93 Feet East next Tues (anyone else going?) and Sebadoh on 22nd
+ 2 days after EOTR I'm going to Morocco again
+ the rest of this year I have trips to Berlin and Toronto to look forward to as well as tickets for the Jeff Mangum ATP, Iron & Wine at Hackney, Jeff Mangum at Union Chapel, David Ford, Felice Brothers, AA Bondy and Portugal the Man...and that's just for starters

The best thing for me would push Nathaniel Rateliff back to 9pm the Love Language slot. Then I don't miss Nathaniel and I think he would b a gr8 headliner in the Tipi tent
-
My big misses are FOUND, Nathaniel Rateliff and most of M Ward
-
Loving what I have heard so far. I don't believe EOTR will let us down this year like last year and every other year. Junip is a gr8 addition if it's true and fingers crossed that it is. I believe their will b other bands but even if their isn't it will b gr8 only 4 weeks

I hope you're not tall Ben, or you'll have all the short-un's shouting for your head on a block.
-
Being over 6 feet tall and wanting to get fairly near the front for most gigs, I do get self conscious about my height and the potential for blocking the view of others, but what can you do? We've all paid the same money and have the same rights to every square inch of turf for the weekend. You win some, you lose some.

i think u will hav to b brave to have one at the EOTR. I will personally politely ask them to take down their umbrella, if we all do the same then they will have no choice
-
Got away lightly this year but still some clashes. The main bands I want to see don't clash, just got to stop listening to music from any1 else gutted about missing some bands like Caitlin Rose, Nathaniel Rateliff and FOUND but can't b helped

I went to My Morning Jacket at Somerset House and when the rain came down alot of people put umbrellas up. So the people behind them could not see luckily the rain didn't last long. Is this new I was watching footage of Latitude and noticed the same thing. With the summer we are havin it's a good chance it could b raining at the EOTR. Will you b happy with two stages outddors to stand behind a wally with a brolly.

A new best album of the year 4 me now!! I am lucky enough to hear the new My Morning Jacket album (Circuital)early. Ten amazing songs all I can say is that it doesn't let me down. I have to admit I'm a massive fan but the best thing about them is that every album is different. Every song is amazing and so looking forward to hearing the new songs live at Somerset House with another gr8 band The Head and the Heart.
-
I hav a new favourite album of the year!! I can't stop listening to The Head and the Heart. The album is amazing and they would b perfect all fingers crossed and toes too.
-
A new contender is Belle Brigade - Belle Brigade. Gr8 uplifting album would b perfect 4 EOTR
-
I agree with alot of you that the headliners do nothing for me at all but the gr8 thing about EOTR is the festival itself. The gr8 ambience and feel of the place. I can name a dozen bands that are worth seeing this year Caitlin Rose, John Grant, Dan Mangan and Wild Beasts just to name some. Don't forget the comedy stage, the cinema and cider bus 2 investigate so lighten up!!

Bright Eyes is good but could do without the narration.
Low Anthem is promising (only heard it once).
Not new but new to me is the previous Phoenix Foundation album (Happy Ending). Have only just got the new one.
Looking forward to Mountain Goats, Glasvegas, N&TW, and sounds like I need to check out Yuck, heard nothing but good things.
