Plus there's the cider bus meet.

Fair enough then!
Why not just stop by sometime and say hi to the happy campers!
Also, I hope that your friend has a great time at Glasto (and you too obviously!)
-
Why bring your friend as well? - the more the merrier!
CT's not just for those going solo
-
Have wanted to go to Glasto for years, but none of my friends are interested in festivals. Didn't like the thought of going alone, so have persuaded someone to come this year but she really doesn't want to - shame!! If I'd known about before, I'd have been there in a shot.

Hi guys,
trying to get hold of a parking pass...
Don't suppose anyone's still got a spare pass kicking around?
The ebay prices are going nuts.
If I do fail to get one, can you definately buy one on the gates? I've heard different things!
Cheers in advance!

Is anyone bringing a pop up tent to 2010??
if not which tent and how many berths is it? i still have to get mine
-
Now I know I'm going to get a lot of backlash for this (that i'll just ignore anyway, so please don't bother), but does anyone know any battery powered/portable hair straighteners that actually work?
After many years of going to festivals and having mad frizzy cave-woman hair after the first night, I would like to be able to actually look acceptable. I naturally have really thick, curly hair, and I don't plan on washing it while I'm there, so they don't need to do a full curly-straight hair session. I'd just like something to straighten out my fringe and tone the mad waves and frizz down a bit every day.
I was thinking about getting these and charging them up before I leave. They say they last 50mins once they're charged. Thoughts? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Our tickets arrived in the post this morning. There was no confirmation e-mail and no one asked for a signature.
Seems that the last batch(es) are not being sent via DX as previously advised.

These pix are fantasic, thanks for posting!

guess that's the beginning of the Cubehenge stage. Great pics very excited now

Was getting worried, but our arrived this morning.
A friend of mine received his the Monday before the fesival a few years back.
They say that all tickets to be sent by 19th which is Saturday, so I guess there will still be some yet to be despatched.

Hi everybody,
Our tickets arrived this morning by post. No one knocked at the door and asked for a signature, nor did we receive an e-mail saying they were on the way. These are coach tickets, so we have just the first portion.
Just though I'd let everyone know in case people are still waiting.

still havent received any email or contact regarding tickets and as its only days away its really worrying and annoying
-
I was very excited to finally get what looked like my tickets this morning, only to find that it's only the coach travel ones
Do you get the coach and festival tickets delivered separately? Or will I have to brace myself for the joyous task of calling Seetickets?

Anyone have any experiences of this stuff? My hair can get very greasy without showering and considering i am planning 5 nights without one, i need to do something to limit bed/unwashed hair look!
So, i was told about dry shampoo. Supposed to remove grease and revitalise your hair, without the need of water. Just wondering, does this work? Any recommendations?

Still no tickets for me either. Had an email from See saying that they had been sent to DX, but nothing from them as yet (although i'm not the lead ticket holder). Not sure how they are delivering them, as there doesnt appear to be an obvious patten. Alot of the people who are going from my local area have already recieved their tickets, but i wont start worring until the 19th. Then a phonecall is in order

Borrowed one of these last year. They are quick and easy to put up, but difficult to dismantle as you have to curve the frame inward whilst it is trying to pop out again. When packed away, ours was a large disc of at least 1m diameter which was awkward to carry. Good for slotting into narrow gaps on trains, coaches etc.

Go absolutely!!
You could always ask if anyone from your neck of the woods is going. Might be a possibility of sharing a lift etc.

Hi there,
Wondered if any of you are coming from the towns of Congleton, Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Knutsford or surrounding areas. We're going on the coach from Manchester at 12:00 on the Wednesday. Would be great to know a few others!

We used them last year, they were fine. Not using them this year because they dont offer parking near the tent and they are quite a walk away!
-
Erm...why?
There is plenty of camping inside the festival. With free lock ups for your stuff if your worried about theft.

Hi there,
Has anyone any experience of P r a x i s Tent Solutions? Has anyone booked tent accommodation with them? Saw their ad on Facebook and understand they have a secure campsite just outside the main festival site. Not seen anything official though.
Paid deposit a couple of weeks ago for two man tent, but I'm looking for independent assurance. Don't want to arrive and find we have no tent. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
Have been to festivals where you are allowed to consume your own beers etc in the campsite, but not within the arenas. Is this also the case at Glastonbury? How far do they allow you to bring in your own booze. Thanks for any advice.
