Let's be honest, Olivavu's posts have descended into simple profanity, cut and pasted lyrics and google images (why why why?)... Where is the constructive debate?
Bring back Cultseeker I say.

I imagine he got bored of defending your childish outbursts, I definitely would have.
I rarely agreed with anything he said to be honest, but at least he had a certain eloquence in the way that he said it. Hey ho.

Dragging this topic back on topic and away from arguments...............I have been listening to Pearl Jam in the car alot recently and I am most impressed, I wasn't entirely sure I was going to like them, but I really do..... I wonder how many other people will feel this way before/after reading.......

Sorry...I didn't realise you'd taken it so badly!
I should've been more gentle with your emotions.

Think it's fair to say we know where you stand on both Foo Fighters and Coldplay!
-
Well, I have to disagree with you - they really did put on a fantastic show at Glastonbury, even though I expected it to be awful. I certainly enjoyed it far more than the White Stripes' set, which I was looking forward to.

There is a festival type belt on www.asos.com at the moment, loads of pockets and pouches, I think it was in the sale too.

To clear this up not many of my friends have heard of pearl jam, the ones that have dont have there music. This is reality very few 16 year old kids in the east midlands will know about pearl jam. They have all heard of Nirvana. This doesn't make them better, and maybe peral jam were as big in seatle in 1994, but nirvana (mores the shame) not pearl jam made grunge commerical.

So I've finally got round to listening to some Pearl Jam (Ollie made me 3 mix CD's of them) and I have to say so far so good!! I didn't think they would be my cuppa to be honest, but I'm liking it!
Good job I'm liking them, seeing as though I'm seeing them twice this year!
-
Pearl Jam have got a lot to live up to!! They better blow me away live or I will not be best pleased.............
-
Are you sitting or standing bud?

I find out my exam results tomorrow hopefully. If I have to retake any exams I may miss the dublin PJ gig and/or Reading (Resits = 21st-31st August). I'm scared.

I'm starting to think I need to listen to some Pearl Jam, I'm now going to be seeing them twice this year and I don't really know any of their songs......

Got my new efests t-shirt today, bright red, very nice, I shall be sporting this at my festivals this summer............

I'm a Patterson/Reichs fan and a big crime fiction reader.
If you've not already tried them the big guns (and good ones) are:
Jonathan Kellermann
Lee Child
Robert Crais
Val McDermid
John Connolly
Jeffery Deaver
Graham Masterton
Dean Koontz
and others I'm sure I'll remember eventually but they're all worth hitting your local library for

Finally got to read the new Harry Potter book last week (my sister wouldn't let me have it before and I wasn't going to buy another copy!) and it was brilliant, can't wait for the next one now!!
Anywho I'm looking for some recommendations on what books I could read next, at the moment my favourite authors seem to be James Patterson, Dan Brown, Kathy Reichs. So if anyone knows of any other authors who write similar crime/thriller type books, I would appreciate it!
-
I've just finished reading 'Demons and Angels' (or was it Angels and Demons, meh) by Dan Brown. What a cracking read, even better than the Da Vinci Code in my opinion. I've got the other two books of his to read now, I'm hoping they will be as good!
-
What book are you currently reading? COLOR=blue] The Da Vinci Code
Last book read?Umm its been a while I think it was London Bridge by James Patterson
Favourite author? James Patterson
Favourite book? Anything by the above author
Cant read? Slushy girly romantic drivel!!

The last 3 cd's i bought were Greenday, Kasabian and Razorlight and they are all crackin!!
