  1. Dragging this topic back on topic and away from arguments...............I have been listening to Pearl Jam in the car alot recently and I am most impressed, I wasn't entirely sure I was going to like them, but I really do..... I wonder how many other people will feel this way before/after reading.......

  2. To clear this up not many of my friends have heard of pearl jam, the ones that have dont have there music. This is reality very few 16 year old kids in the east midlands will know about pearl jam. They have all heard of Nirvana. This doesn't make them better, and maybe peral jam were as big in seatle in 1994, but nirvana (mores the shame) not pearl jam made grunge commerical.
  3. So I've finally got round to listening to some Pearl Jam (Ollie made me 3 mix CD's of them) and I have to say so far so good!! I didn't think they would be my cuppa to be honest, but I'm liking it!

Good job I'm liking them, seeing as though I'm seeing them twice this year! ;)

  4. I'm a Patterson/Reichs fan and a big crime fiction reader.

If you've not already tried them the big guns (and good ones) are:

    Jonathan Kellermann

    Lee Child

    Robert Crais

    Val McDermid

    John Connolly

    Jeffery Deaver

    Graham Masterton

    Dean Koontz

and others I'm sure I'll remember eventually but they're all worth hitting your local library for

  5. Finally got to read the new Harry Potter book last week (my sister wouldn't let me have it before and I wasn't going to buy another copy!) and it was brilliant, can't wait for the next one now!!

Anywho I'm looking for some recommendations on what books I could read next, at the moment my favourite authors seem to be James Patterson, Dan Brown, Kathy Reichs. So if anyone knows of any other authors who write similar crime/thriller type books, I would appreciate it!

  6. I've just finished reading 'Demons and Angels' (or was it Angels and Demons, meh) by Dan Brown. What a cracking read, even better than the Da Vinci Code in my opinion. I've got the other two books of his to read now, I'm hoping they will be as good!

  7. What book are you currently reading? COLOR=blue] The Da Vinci Code

Last book read?Umm its been a while I think it was London Bridge by James Patterson

    Favourite author? James Patterson

Favourite book? Anything by the above author

Cant read? Slushy girly romantic drivel!!
