WIT Music Festival 2007

This is the tenth anniversery for the Women in Tune Music Festival, a unique event, with a friendly, inclusive atmosphere, set on beautiful site in West Wales.

The WIT Music Festival was created as a showcase for female musicians, and as a place of encouragement and inspiration, where women could become involved in or learn about music, with a supportive atmosphere in which any woman could get up on stage and perform.

There's a main stage and a smaller, more intimate acoustic stage. Music features both national and international women artists, and covers a wide variety of genres, from classical to rock, folk to funk, new talent to seasoned professionals, one woman shows to 6 piece bands. There's also dance, theatre, story and poetry, on stage and off, and a dedicated workshop programme.

Other festival essentials include a vegetarian/vegan café run by the women of Henry's Beard (with a 'first timers' table if you want to meet up with other women at mealtimes); another late night café serving snacks; helpful disabled access; a crèche and dedicated girls and teens area.

TOILETS AND WASHING FACILTIES:
There will be a mixture of portaloos, ordinary flushing toilets and compost loos on site. Washing facilities include sinks with cold water, hot bucket showers, and a Moroccan style Hammam with hot water for washing.

FREE CAMPING AND FREE PARKING:
There's a separate car park next to the camping field so luggage needs to be carried to one of the several camping areas: one field near to the car park field, and in other places amongst the hustle and bustle of the festival. There is a small area set aside for caravans/camper vans etc. A site map is provided on arrival.
