Now in it's eighth year (having given 2006 a miss), this festival is open from 1pm - 7pm, showcasing up-and-coming local bands and DJs, as well as hosting a Kids' Area, bar, food, craft and market stalls and workshops. The event is FREE, although a donation of one pound is suggested.
Each year promises an eclectic mix with rock, indie, pop, hip-hop, R'n'B and folk musicians selected to play over the festival weekend. Acts confirmed are Stone Pony, The Fore, The Peryls, Size Nine, Le Shark, Dialog, Earl Green, UGC, Cherry Blackstone, Mancini, Ashok, Inner Terrestrials, East Of Ealing, and Orchid Star.
Families are very welcome and there is plenty to keep children entertained: a kid's play zone, plus the park's Victorian dinosaur island, hedgerow maze and the old Crystal Palace remains for kids and adults alike, to explore.
