The Bowl 2004

Now in it's sixth year and open from 1pm - 7pm, this festival showcases up-and-coming bands and DJs from south of the river, as well as hosting a kids' area, bar, food, craft and market stalls and workshops.

This year promises a eclectic mix with reggae, hip-hop, rock, pop, ska, and folk musicians selected to play over the festival weekend. The line-up has now been confirmed and includes (in no particular order): Victor Malloy; Ludes; Backbone Music; Token; Blunt Skulls; Foxy and Whirlwind; Truepenny; Detwiije; Megson; Harry Palmer and The Caine Mutiny; The Noisettes; Nebraska; and Careless.

Families are very welcome and there is plenty to keep children entertained - kids play zone, workshops, clay modelling and entertainers plus the park's Victorian dinosaur island, hedgerow maze and the old Crystal Palace remains for kids and adults alike, to explore.
