The Bowl 2005

Now in it's seventh year and open from 1pm - 7pm, this festival showcases up-and-coming bands and DJs from south of the river, as well as hosting a kids' area, bar, food, craft and market stalls and workshops.
This year promises the usual eclectic mix with rock, indie, pop, hip-hop, R'n'B and folk musicians selected to play over the festival weekend. The line-up has now been confirmed and includes (in no particular order):
Horizon 22; The Southern Electrics; Kanako and The Numbskulls; Sleeve; Viper Squadron; Shuffle; Brona of ForestBrook; The Rays; Milk Kan; Liberation Jumpsuit; Ashok; Little Kicks; and Farai.
Families are very welcome and there is plenty to keep children entertained: a kid's play zone, plus the park's Victorian dinosaur island, hedgerow maze and the old Crystal Palace remains for kids and adults alike, to explore.
