Teignmouth Folk Festival 2011

Throughout the weekend of Friday 17th until Sunday 19th June 2011, the Teignmouth Folk Festival will be taking place at a number of different venues in one of Devon's oldest seaside resorts, located below the Haldon Hills on the estuary of the River Teign.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are Tyde, Humphreys & Anahata, Unstrung Heroes, Belshazzar's Feast, The New Scorpion Band, City of Plymouth Pipe Band, Eat the Rich, Halfway Harmony, Ethel's Cats, and Gollywhoppers.

The festival will also play host to Morris, Border and Appalachian dancers.

Tickets

An early bird adult weekend ticket with camping is priced at £38 (full price after 1st June £42), an early bird weekend ticket with camping for a child (under 14 years)is priced £19 (full price £21) An early bird adult weekend ticket only is priced at £29 (full price £32) and an early bird weekend Child (under 14 years) ticket only is priced at £14.50 (full price £16). There are also individual concert tickets available.

The main venues for the 2011 Folk Festival are expected to be The Carlton Theatre & The Triangle, plus The Ship Inn, East Cliff Cafe, Jason's Garden, The South Pacific, and other venues will be confirmed nearer the event.

Camping

There will be camping available, and Teignmouth also offers a number of accommodation options.
