Swaledale Festival 2010

This festival comprises over 40 ticketed performances as well as other free events offering classical, choral, jazz, folk and world music in intimate Dales venues plus gallery works and exhibitions.

The festival takes place in various village venues around Swaledale, Wensleydale and Arkengarthdale.

Line-up

Some of the artists this year include Red Priest,Niamh Ni Charra, Puppetcraft, Rapscallion, Peter Donohoe, Fitzwilliam Quartet, Muker Band, Emma Kirkby, Reeth Brass, Saint Cecilia Players, Jacob Heringman, Northern Sinfonia, The Hut People, and Calefax Ree. In addition there is the annual Art in the Pub plus the Art Trail (walking).
