Swaledale Festival 2004

This festival comprises over 40 ticketed performances as well as other free events (mainly classical but also brass band, world, and other styles of music) plus gallery works and exhibitions.
Some of the artists this year include Emma Kirkby (Soprano)/Jakob Lindberg (Lute), Papa Noel and his nine piece band from the Congo, Jackie Leven, and the Song Company from Australia. In addition there is the annual Art in the Pub plus the Art Trail (walking).
The festival takes place in various village venues around Swaledale, Wensleydale and Arkengarthdale.
