Stompin' on the Quomps 2011

Stompin' on the Quomps, is a FREE al-fresco Smooth Jazz Festival held on Saturday, 6th August 2011 and is based in the surroundings of Christchurch Quay, in Dorset.

Line-up

The community event will start at noon, headlining the event will be Taverners Big Band, with Not Just Sax featuring Louise Clare Marshall, Lemongrove, The Baddest Blues Band Ever, and Dutch band Bazar Bizarre also confirmed.

Family friendly

Now in its 17th year, it's a festival that is hugely popular with young families through to octogenarians soaking up the atmosphere and dancing to the sounds of bands ranging from Latin Jazz, Blues, through to the classic sound of the Big Band.

The expanded event will have food and drink stalls and full information can be found in the souvenir programme which will be available from the Christchurch Information centre, The Regent Centre, the Captain's Club Hotel and at the event itself.
