Featuring four music stages, an alternative market place, get-stuck-in sports competitions and a family friendly arts and crafts field, this is the northern counterpart to the succesful London and Bristol festivals against racism.

There'll be performances on the Main Stage from Gregory Isaacs with the Mafia and Fluxy Band, Uncut, Britannia Rumba, J-Walk, Veba, Jon Kennedy, RDB, Josephine Oniyama, Hohodza, Homelife and 2FO, DJs BIZZY B, Chris Jam, and Paula 'n' Tabs and hosts, Mc Guvnov with performances by Diké and Shirley May.

On the DJ Stage, Mr Scruff will be headlining supported by Vance Benjamin, Sappo, The Nudge (Grand Central), Inkey, Blacklodge, Dom (Blood and Fire), and MC Tonn Piper.

The Canteena Stage offers us sounds from Jason Boardman, La Dolce Vita, Jimmy Conguero, Coops and Jimla Stefano.

There is also a Youth Music Stage featuring the North West final of Big Hitters, a nationwide under-17s singing and rapping competition as well as music from Metz and Trix, Phat Aki and DJs and MCs from various youth music projects with host, Crystlize.

Walk the Plank, a touring theatre company on a ship, will be presenting a show about immigration written by poet, Lemn Sissay. Other highlights include free circus skills and Kung Fu workshops, food and drink, exhibitions and children's activities.
