Monmouth Festival, now in its 30th year, is a series of events and entertainments taking place in a beautiful South Wales town in the Wye valley, organized by the people of Monmouth, for the people of Monmouth and using local Monmouth talent as much as possible. The festival will run from Friday 17th to Saturday 25th August 2012.
Saturday 18 August: Yes Sir Boss, Hells Bells, Monmouth Festival Orchestra.
Sunday 19 August: tbc, Jivoholics, he Secret Police.
Monday 20 August: Pandemick, Between The Lines, Toadstool, The Words.
Tuesday 21 August: The Bandits, Mighty Pledge.
Wednesday 22 August: Chris James, Two Card Trick.
Thursday 23 August: Red River Blues, Jon Amor Blues Group, Mavron String Quartet (incl. Peter Reynolds piece).
Friday 24 August: Ronaldos, Martin Turner's Wishbone Ash, William Mackie.
Saturday 26 August: Poco Latino, New Amen Corner, Pontnewydd Male Voice Choir.

About
The festival offers a diverse range of musical genres ranging from folk, and ska, through jazz and blues, to rock and thrash metal, and classical music, with comedy and street entertainment thrown in for good measure. All the concerts are free, mostly taking place in the new site at Blestium Street Car Park with the indoor venue this year being the function room at The Three Horseshoes in Drybridge Street.Line-up
