Monmouth Festival is a series of events and entertainments taking place in a beautiful South Wales town in the Wye valley, organized by the people of Monmouth, for the people of Monmouth and using local Monmouth talent as much as possible.
The festival offers a diverse range of musical genres ranging from folk, and ska, through jazz and blues, to rock and thrash metal, and classical music, with comedy and street entertainment thrown in for good measure. All the concerts are free, mostly taking place in the evening in Agincourt Square with alternatives in St Mary's Church and other venues.
The festival seems to get bigger every year especially now that the organisers have taken onthe town carnival too. Further details will be published as they become available.
