Monmouth Festival is a series of events and entertainments put on in Monmouth, a beautiful South Wales town in the Wye valley, organized by the people of Monmouth, for the people of Monmouth and using local Monmouth talent as much as possible.
The festival offers music from numerous different bands ranging from folk, through jazz and blues to rock, and classical music, with comedy and street entertainment thrown in for good measure. All the concerts are free, mostly taking place in the evening in Agincourt Square with alternatives in St Mary's Church and other venues.
Bands confirmed for Saturday 26th include Twist and Crawl (The Beat) and 20 Dead Camels.
On the Sunday, Festival Family Fun Day will be taking over the top of the town, with street entertainment, stalls and a variety of music.
