Middlewich FAB Festival 2012


Now in it's 22nd year, the Middlewich FAB Festival offers a narrowboat rally as well as music and street theatre with juggling, parades through the town, stalls, music at various venues, and Morris dancing from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th June 2012.

Line-up

There's a full programme of free entertainment on the FAB stage with Fitz Robinson, Merry Hell, Rock Choir, Watoto Children's Choir, and more.

The programme of ticketed concerts includes the festival start on Friday night with Show of Hands with Miranda Sykes at Middlewich Civic Hall, and festival patron Mark Radcliffe and the Big Figures at the Middlewich Royal British Legion. Saturday night sees a choice of Glenn Tilbrook at the Middlewich Royal British Legion, or the Festival Ceilidh with All Blacked Up and Baz Parkes calling. Sunday night's entertainment is to be confirmed, and there's loads of fringe artists performing throughout the weekend.

Other entertainment

There are 12 fringe venues hosting live music & dance and offering FREE admission, a live stage will host more live music & dance with admission also free admission, plus the canalboat rally and 100s of morris dancers.

Canalside

This festival is based in the town centre and all venues are within easy walking distance, with several enjoying a canalside backdrop, with 100s of canal boats here for the weekend.

Camping

The spacious campsite has shower/toilet block facilities and overnight security, and offers excellent value- small tents £5per night. Large tents & caravans £10per night.
