Lammas Festival 2012

Eastbourne's annual free festival of music dance and entertainment is back for its 12th Anniversary on the Western Lawns on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July 2012. With folk music, morris dancing, traditional giants, carnival and a Grand Parade plus live bands every afternoon, and evening plus a Ritual celebration of Lammas expected at around 5.30pm, on the beach on Saturday.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2012.

On site

There will also be a beer tent and craft stalls open all day on the Wish Tower Slopes plus storytelling, puppetry and children's activities. An evening concert is expected to take place at 7.30pm in the Winter Garden.

Charity

The festival will be making a collection in aid of the R.N.L.I. Last year they raised £1069 taking their total since the festival started to just over £9,000.
