The Green Man Festival will return for its 20th birthday to Glanusk Park, Usk Valley, Powys, Wales from Thursday 18th to Sunday 21st August 2022.

This news was announced by the festival on 10th February 2022, but is announced today as part of eFestivals catching up after technical errors.

The headliners have been confirmed as: Kraftwerk, Michael Kiwanuka, Beach House, and Metronomy.

Also appearing across the weekend will be Bicep (live), Kae Tempest, Parquet Courts, Low, Ty Segall & Freedom Band, Cate Le Bon, Black Country, New Road, Ezra Furman, Dry Cleaning, Yves Tumor (live), Jenny Hval, Arab Strap, Alex G, Mdou Moctar, Valerie June, Orchestra Baobab, Viagra Boys, The Murder Capital, Witch, Beverly Glenn-Copeland, Frazey Ford, Arooj Aftab, Torres, Katy J Pearson, James Yorkston, Cassandra Jenkins, Pictish Trail, Charlotte Adigery & Bolis Pupul, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Optimo (Espacio), Pip Blom, Minyo Crusaders, Willie J Healey, Balimaya Project, Group Listening, Planningtorock, Soccer96, Marisa Anderson, William Tyler, Modern Nature, Sugar Candy Mountain, Indigo De Souza, Ichiko Aoba, Bess Atwell, Cola, Keeley Forsyth, Gotts Street Park, Natalie Bergman, Annie Hart, Maria Somerville, Strawberry Guy, John Francis Flynn, Katherine Priddy, Melin Melyn, The Umlauts, Keg, Adwaith, Buffalo Nichols, Lucy Gooch, Sophie Jamieson, Maria Bc, Papur Wal, Ailsa Tully, Alice Low, Bingo Fury, Blue Bendy, Deathcrash, English Teacher, Kathleen Frances, Lemondaze, Lime Garden, M(H)aol, Mickey Callisto, porij, Robocobra Quartet, Tara Clerkin Trio, Tenderhost, Unschooling, Huw Stephens, Deptford Northern Soul Club, Adam Walton, and Big Jeff.

Tickets have sold out, but expect a limited resale before the festival.

As well as the music there will be art installations, literature and film tents, Welsh poetry, art and music, ceilidhs, poetry, theatre, science, comedy, Nature and Nurture massage area, a daily dusk till dawn bonfire, impromptu jamming sessions, and food stalls offering a wide range of cuisine most of which is locally sourced and organic. The festival also has an array of quirky bars dotted around the site with the a 24 hour drinks licence, serving everything from real ale and cider, wine, to hot toddies, and cocktails.
