Gaunts Annual Summer Gathering 2010


The 20th Gaunts Summer Gathering is held from Thursday 5th until Sunday 8th August with visitors able to come from Wednesday 4th until Monday 9th to the tranquil Dorset country house setting, near Wimborne, Dorset.

Line-up

The acts appearing include Seize the Day, Praying for the Rain, Kangaroo Half Moon, Kora Colours, Tina Bridgeman, Richard Kennedy, Chris Ellis and Celeste Lovick, Danu Fox, Kora Colours (with Ravi), Brian Boothby, Michael Ormiston and Candida Valentino, Julia Palmer-Price, Ravi, Caitlin and Sika, and Hank Dogs.

Tickets

Earlybird tickets are no longer available. A full price ticket is priced at £125. Day tickets are also available priced at £35. Concession tickets are available priced at 50% of ticket price, with children aged 12 years and under getting free admission. to buy tickets telephone the box office on 01202 841522.

Everything is included in the entry price except your food, drinks and therapies. That means that Camping, Parking, Children's Tickets, Child & Teenage Programmes, Live Music, Workshops and Main Speakers are all free!

Entertainment

As well as live music and entertainment, there are free workshops, soothing alternative therapies, dancing each evening, funky stalls and home-made food, and activities for kids and teenagers.

On site

This year there will be a large marquee to house the Main Talks and some of the evening dancing. There will be a Children's Disco each evening at 6pm. There will be 2 or 3 main seakers including Timothy Murphy. Somewhere there will be a massive Barn Dance.
