Gaunts Annual Summer Gathering 2008


Gaunts Summer Gathering is this year celebrating its 20th anniversary. The friendly family event is held from Wednesday evening on 6th August until Monday lunchtime 11th August 2008 in a tranquil Dorset country house setting, near Wimborne, Dorset.

The confirmed live music line-up includes Praying for the Rain, Suns of Arqua, Dragonsfly, Kangaroo Moon, Seize the Day, Hank Dogs, Domenic Decicco, Gillie Nichols, Danu Fox, Chris Ellis & Celeste Lovick, and Tambura.

Tickets:
Everything is included in the entry price except your food, drinks and therapies. That means that Camping, Parking, Children's Tickets, Child & Teenage Programmes, Live Music, Workshops and Main Speakers are all free!

Tickets
From Wednesday evening 6th August to lunchtime Monday 11th August a ticket is priced at £125 for 4-day (5-night) camping. Children 12 and under are free.
2-Day Tickets: Arrive from 6pm Friday, staying until Monday, are priced at £85 per person.
Day tickets: £20 per day.
Concessions: £10 Day Ticket only.
Evening Ticket only (after 6pm): £10.
B+B accommodation available.

As well as live music and entertainment, there is a peace ceremony, around 120 free workshops, soothing alternative therapies, funky stalls and home-made food, and activities for kids and teenagers.

Workshops include gongbaths by gongmaster Don Conreaux, shamanic journeying by Leo Rutherford, African drum and dance, dramatherapy, psychic workshops, yoga, qi gung, earth mysteries, Native American sacred ways, dowsing, belly dancing and more.
