Fordstock is now in it's 11th year. It is a small, friendly, one-day music festival held in a field, on the edge of the village of Harbertonford (between Totnes and Kingsbridge in South Devon) generating money for local community projects.
With music from 2pm till late, there are two stages: the Main Stage and the J & C Stage. Most of the performances are sourced from local talent and include blues (harmonica), rock, reggae, punk, pop, indie and trance. Click here for details of this year's line-up.
There is often theatre and dance; always food (including home-made cakes), a full bar, and stalls. This event attracts over 2000 visitors and the organisers now expect a similar turnout each year. Open from 1.30pm.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
Parking takes time as access is not straightforward on narrow Devon roads in this small village. People are advised to try to share cars and be patient, or better still, use the organised transport service (including a shuttle bus running from the Rotherfold in Totnes from 10pm - 1am).
No dogs. No alcohol is allowed to be brought in as there is a bar on site.
