Fordstock Festival 2004
Saturday 10th July 2004Harbertonford (near Totnes) South Hams, South Devon,, England MAP
around £4 on the gate
Fordstock has been going for about 8 years. It is a small friendly music festival held in the village of Harbertonford (between Totnes and Kingsbridge in South Devon)generating money for local community projects.
With music from 1pm till late, this year there are two stages: the Main Stage and the J & C Stage.
Most of the performances are sourced from local talent and this year the line-up on the Main Stage is as follows: KEVICC band; Indigo; the Totnes Jazz Collective; Backlash; Kingsbridge Battle of the Bands Winners; Chris Scott and the Faith Healers; FOS Brothers; Too Hot and UV React.
On the J & C Stage you can hear music from Adam and his band, Panacea, Antigua Joe, The Committee, John Elliott, Jerry Cahill, Spence and Co, and Dubb Terranea.
There is often also theatre and dance; always food, a full bar, and stalls.
Last year there were over 2000 visitors and the organisers expect a similar turnout this year.
Parking can take time as access is not straightforward on narrow Devon roads in a small village. It is advised that people try to share cars or at least be patient.
