Folkfest 2011

The sixth annual Free Folkfest in Burnham-on-Sea will take place from Thursday 1st until Sunday 4th September 2011.

This is an acoustic folk festival, with free activities in pubs around the town centre with over 90 acts, dancers, workshops, exhibitions, market, refreshments, kids' entertainment at various venues throughout Burnham-on-Sea. All free.

Line-up

The latest additions are Ant Noel & The Peabody Drakes, Bag Of Rats, Chalice Morris, Combyne Arvester, Debbie Beckett, Dusica, Frankie’s Dad, Hedgepig, Hobo Jones and his Junkyard Dogs, Hometown Skiffle Revival, Phil King, Rob Carey, Rustique, Stockport Morris, The Alchemist's Wardrobe, The Ceili, The Claque, and Vermin. Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in Burnham-on-Sea.

Workshops

As well as music the festival also has a programme of workshops available.
