Fishstock Brixham 2013


Fishstock Brixham is a festival that combines music and seafood. The one-day-event held on Saturday 7th September 2013 from when gates open at 10am, the seafood Show runs 11am to 6pm, and the music Show run from 11am until midnight. The event hopes to raise much-needed funds for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

Line-up

Main Stage: Jumping Out Jazz, Tibetan Monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Emerald Hil, Jiggery Pipery, Brixham Bellywood Belles, Empire of Fools, 59 Ford, Hysteria, Classic Gold, Kalash Tribal Bellydancers, Phil & Hannah, MIU, These Reigning Days, Duke Johnson & the Scorchers.

Acoustic Stage: Southern Comfort, Maggie Duffy & Mike Weed, Ian Hunt (Solo Guitarist), Torbay Ukulele Band, Chris Thomas (solo), The Storm, Swashbuckle, Lisa Angharad, Banned from the Moor, The Old Gaffers, and Tricorn Shonkey.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, and under 15s are free. Tickets are available on the day at the entry gate.

Please note: Children must be accompanied at all times and are the responsibility of their fee paying adult. The quayside has high walls down to the water and working fishing vessels may be along side or moving in/out of the breakwater. br />
Please ensure you keep your children safe and help us keep Fishstock Brixham a safe and enjoyable family day out. The event is timed to coincide with 'National Seafood Fortnight'. There will be recipes of local seafood cooked by expert and celebrity chefs whilst local musicians and artists provide the entertainment. Heritage and modern fishing boats will be open for tours.

There will also be local food and drink producers, display stands, information about the marine environment, fishing activity and maritime safety etc.

Fundraiser

This is a fundraiser for the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

Getting there

Avoid congestion by using sustainable transport: Bus No.12, Western Lady Ferry, and Greenway Ferry from Torquay, or the Park and Ride from Churston.
