The Folk Weekend, now in its 26th year, is based on a single site which includes marquees, camping facilities, food stalls, trade stands, real-ale bar, real toilets, showers, children's entertainment plus Morris displays and pub sessions during the day in Ely City centre.
This is a small, friendly festival happening from Friday 8th until Sunday 10th July 2011, where artists play meet and greet 'unplugged' sessions, there is also a real ale bar, trade stalls, numerous concerts, dances, displays, sessions, ceilidhs and children's entertainment plus a programme of workshops.

The line-up includes top Dervish, The Men They Couldn't Hang, Little Johnny England, Salsa Celtica, 3 Daft Monkeys, Brooks Williams Band, Seize the Day, Tom McConville Band, Johnny Dickinson, Heidi Talbot, John McCusker & Boo Hewerdine, Ahab, Roy McLeod, and the Martin Simpson Band, with many more still to be announced. There is ample space for tents and caravans on site, and free parking is provided close to the festival site. There are also plenty of alternative accommodation available in Ely. Ely city centre is easily accessible by the organised shuttle bus (or 20 minutes walk).Tickets
