The Folk Weekend, now in its 23rd year, is based on a single site which includes marquees, camping facilities, food stalls, trade stands, real-ale bar, real toilets, showers, children's entertainment plus Morris displays and pub sessions during the day in Ely City centre.
This is a small, friendly festival where you can meet the artists 'unplugged', as well as attend numerous concerts, dances, displays, sessions, ceilidhs and children's entertainment plus a programme of workshops.
The first acts have been announced Show of Hands, Martin Simpson, Spiers and Boden, Saor Patrol, Last Night's Fun, Boo Hewerdine, Kerfuffle, Idiot & Friend, Mawkin:Causley, Wide Glide Band, Al Lindsay, Lightning Jack, Brian Houston, Gareth Pearson, Claude Boubon, Loman, Jade, and Bof!. There is ample space for tents and caravans on site. There is also plenty of parking. Ely city centre is easily accessible by the organised shuttle bus (or 20 minutes walk).
TICKETS AND CAMPING PRICES:
Season tickets are available priced at £55. Concession tickets are available at £40 - 10-17s reduced price £18, under 10s free, and there will also be day tickets available. Camping is charged per person whether it's a tent, or in a campervan or a caravan. To buy a ticket click here.
