A mid-winter festival presenting both national and local artists, many of whom perform, and are available to meet at one or many of the events taking place over the weekend.
The 17th Cheltenham Folk Festival takes place from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th February 2013.

Cheltenham Folk Festival offers a wide range of concerts, workshops, ceilidhs, children's activities and an indoor market place with stalls selling everything from jewellery and clothing to musical instruments, and up to 15 morris dance sides that take to the streets on the Saturday and Sunday.
The Cheltenham Folk Festival is promoted by Cheltenham Borough Council.

Tickets
Individual concert tickets are dependent on availability although many artists appear more than once over the weekend. Camping is not included in the ticket price. An adult early bird weekend ticket is priced at £72. Children under 5 years are admitted free; 5-16 year olds tickets are priced at £36. Food includes vegetarian dishes, and there are real ales too. Indoor camping
is available at around £25 for the weekend or around £10 per night at St Luke's Church Hall. No campers under 16 years of age. Facilities include toilets, showers, kitchen and disabled access.B&Bs
