A 17-day arts festival across the city of Bath featuring live performances from both local, national and world musicians as well as dance, theatre, art exhibitions, carnival and children's events with many free gigs held from Friday 22nd May until Sunday 7th June.
Acts confirmed include Smoke Fairies, Mike Heron, Led Bib, Martin Harley Band, Mish Mash Presents My Latest Novel plus Ohbijou (tbc) and Neil Gay (The Cedar), Boom Stage Youth Festival, Maths Class and Kill Cassidy, Fanfarlo plus The Doubtful Guest, Cara Dillon, Gilbert Quick Orchestra, John Otway plus guests, Variety Lives, Michael Weston King; Spartacus Fest, The Bays, Seth Lakeman & support, Camille O'Sullivan: The Dark Angel, The Dub Pistols Ft Rodney P + support, Phantom Limb plus Adam Rose; street theatre with Kilter, and Roots, The Lord Chamberlain's Men perform Twelfth Night in the Botanical Gardens, an Afro Cuban Tale at The Forum, 3 Sisters on board a boat, Almasala (Flamenco grooves), The George Mabusa Band, Max Pashm Band plus DJ set (Balkan beats), Cubania Dance Company, Rory McLeod, Arthur Smith, Alan Francis;, Toby Longworth, BA1 Records present, Martin Simpson Trio, Helele, Baka Beyond, Hodmadoddery, The Handsome Family, Bedlam Cabaret, The Duckworths and guests, Connie Lush & Blues Shouter, Lo'Jo, plus various events suitable for kids as part of the Spiegeltent Children's Festival.

Spiegel Palace, on Bath's recreation ground, is hosting many of the free events and kid's stuff all day for 9 days, with concerts in the evening, all within the mirror-bedecked art nouveau splendour of one of the last remaining Spiegeltents, travelling venues since the 1920s.
The full festival programme includes everything from visual art exhibitions to installations, classical theatre and street performance workshops, morris dancing to hip-hop sessions as well as live music. Prices vary according to venue and event.
